Shimla-2, the 22 July, 2024

No.FFE-B-A(4)-2/2015-L.—WHEREAS, the Government of Himachal Pradesh has fixed the price of private forest produce under Section-7 of the Himachal Pradesh Forest Produce 90—राजपत्र/2024-29-07-2024 (2577)2578 राजपत्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश, 29 जुलाई, 2024/07 श्रावण, 1946 (Regulation of Trade) Act, 1982 from time to time. The rates were revised from time to time in subsequent years, though, the terms & conditions remained the same as laid down in the GoHP Notification No. FFE-B-A(4)-3/2005-Vol-I, dated 31st March, 2011.

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by first proviso of Section 7 of the Himachal Pradesh Forest Produce (Regulation of Trade) Act, 1982, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to fix the price of private forest produce for the Financial Year 2024-25 by enhancing 15% in the existing rates fixed for the Financial Year 2023-24 notified vide Notification of even number dated 21st March, 2023. The list of revised rates is enclosed as Annexure-I.

All other "terms and conditions" as prescribed in this Department's notification referred to above shall remain unchanged.

No. TPT-A(3)-3/2015-I.—Whereas, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is satisfied that it is expedient in the public interest to exempt the trucks of the other States entering in the territory of Himachal Pradesh for the purpose of transportation of apples and potatoes to out of the State of Himachal Pradesh from the payment of Special Road Tax leviable under section 3-A of the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1972 (Act No. 4 of 1973).

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14(3) of the Act ibid, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to exempt the trucks of the other States (not covered under National Permit) entering into the territory of Himachal Pradesh from payment of Special Road Tax leviable under section 3-A of the said Act, for the purpose of transportation of apples and potatoes to out of the State of Himachal Pradesh with effect from the date of publication of the said notification in the Rajpatra (e-Gazette), Himachal Pradesh to 31-10-2024.
