No.: 40332(Year-2021).—In order to ensure a peaceful, healthy and congenial environment in medical and health institutions of the State, it is essential that all individuals working in or visiting such institutions adhere to proper ethical standards of behavior.

Though, the National Medical Commission (NMC) and other regulatory bodies have already issued various guidelines/instructions governing ethical conduct in medical and health institutions yet concerns and suggestions have been received from various sections of society, emphasizing the need for comprehensive, uniform and clearly defined ethical guidelines to regulate the conduct and behavior of all stakeholders present in medical and health institutions.

Accordingly, with a view to framing guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) and necessary instructions on ethical conduct and etiquette, the Government hereby constitutes a Committee comprising the following members: —

The aforesaid Committee shall submit its recommendations, alongwith detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs), to the Government for approval within a period of 15 days from the date of issuance of this order.

The aforesaid Expert Group will act as an independent multi-disciplinary group, to evaluate the Social Impact Assessment report submitted by the Social Impact Assessment Unit for carrying out the purposes of the Act ibid of the Project i.e. development of Greenfield Airport at Nagchala, District Mandi. The Expert Group shall make specific recommendations within two months from the date of its constitution, to the Government as provided under sub-section (4) & (5) of Section 7 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparancy in Land Acquisiton, Rehablitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

The Department of Tourism & CA shall bear the TA/DA and sitting expenses of the members.
