No. FFE-B-F(14)-1/2026.—WHEREAS, the nature and extent of the rights of the Government and of the private persons in or over the forest land or waste land specified in the SCHEDULE appended to this Notification have been enquired into and recorded, as required under sub-section (3) of Section 29 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (Act No. 16 of 1927) ;

AND WHEREAS, the forest land or waste land as shown in the said SCHEDULE is the property of the Government or over which the Government has proprietary rights or the Government is entitled to the whole or any part of the forest produce therein ;

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 29 of the Act ibid, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to declare that the provisions of Chapter-IV of the said Act shall apply to the said forest land or waste land and shall hereafter be called as "protected forest" under the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 29 of the Act ibid.

Whereas, it has been stated in the application that Smt. Bimla was born on 21-10-1965, but the registration of her birth could not be done within the prescribed period as stipulated under the Act and Rules made thereunder.

Now, therefore, in order to verify and confirm the accuracy of the information provided this proclamation is hereby issued for the general information of the public at large. Any person having any objection or relevant information with regard to the delayed registration of the aforesaid birth is hereby called upon to submit the same in writing to the undersigned within 30 (thirty) days from the date of issuance of this notice.
