SRO - 213 . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (j ) of sub - section ( I ) of section 2 of the Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj Act , 1989 , read with sub- section (3 ) of section 9 of the Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Act , 2000 , the Government hereby declare that the villages 2

mentioned in Annexure to this notification shall form part of the erstwhile Halqa Panchayats as indicated against each . Further, the assets and liabilities which were being held by the respective villages at the time of their denotification as Municipal Committees shall vest in the respective Halqa Panchayat from the date of its establishment under sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 4 of the Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj Act, 1989 .

SRO - 221.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 8 of Jammu and Kashmir Entry on Goods Tax Act , 2000 , the Government hereby 2

direct that in the Jammu and Kashmir Entry Tax on Goods Rules , 2000 , the following amendments shall be made , namely :-
In rule 3 , after sub - rule ( 2 ) , the following sub - rule shall be inserted :-
"(3 ) ( i ) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub - rules ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) ofrule 3 , payments due under the Act can be made electronically in Form ET- IIA through a computer network .
( ii ) The authorized Bank shall also forward a statement of such e- challans ( called as e - Payment scroll ) daily in Form ET- IIB to the authorities as notified by the Commissioner. The date of payment for the purpose of these rules shall be date of deposit generated on the e-Challan in Form ET- IIA . The date of generation ofe - Challan and the daily statement from Bank shall mention this date . "

In the matter of- Reference / SRO No. 204 under section 10 of Industrial Disputes Act .
Award
1. This tribunal has received a reference by virtue of a notification dated 10th July, 2008 wherein SRO - 204 was issued by the Government of J& K and referred the dispute to this tribunal for adjudication .
2. Both the parties to the petition have submitted that they are ready for compromise . Time was granted for negotiation . They have compromised and settled at Rs . 20,000/ - ( Twenty Thousand only) towards the satisfaction of all the claims arising out of the employment of the petitioner with the respondent . Statements of the petitioner was recorded besides obtaining their signature on the margin of the order sheet . The petitioner has been identified by his AR Sh . L. R. Laxman . Respondent has also put his signature in token of his acceptance to the terms and conditions of the agreement arrived between the parties . Respondent has paid rupees twenty thousand only to the petitioner in the open court.
3. After this settlement of workmen /petitioner has left with no of his claims / dues towards the management .
4. Consequence to the compromise arrived between the parties , respondent has paid the agreed amout of Rs . 20,000/- to the petitioner who has received the same in the court and has also executed an receipt toward the full and final settlement of all dues which include earned wages , encashment of leave , notice pay, retrenchment , compensation , bonus , gratuity and all other dues which could accrue during the employment with the management of M / s Power Cable , Birpur Industrial Area , Bari Brahmana , Jammu .
5. After this settlement petitioner has left with no cause of action against the management .

6. Since the settlement amount has been received by the workman and his claim stands disposed off accordingly.
7. In view of the settlement executed between the parties , this court hereby passes this award in terms of the memorandum settlement and holds that no other relief is required to be granted to the petitioner.
8. Copy of the award be sent to the concerned authorities for necessary action .
9. File shall go to record .
