In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Jammu and Kashmir Passengers Taxation Act, 1963 , the Government hereby exempt from payment of tax leviable under the said Act, the passenger vehicles which remained off road due to unprecedented floods ofSeptember , 2014 w. e . f. September, 2014 to December , 2014 :
Provided further that the owner of the passenger vehicle shall furnish an affidavit to the effect that his /her vehicle actually remained off road during that period .
