Subject : Celebrations of Civil Services Day.
Circular No. 18-GAD of 2015
Dated 20-03-2015 .
1. This Year, the Civil Services Day has been proposed to be celebrated on 20th and 21st of April across all the State Capitals and the District Headquarters , in conjunction with the main events in New Delhi . On this occasion , the Hon'ble Prime Minister is scheduled to address the officers , which will be relayed across the country through video link .

2. The State Government has decided that the AIS Officers shall , besides other activities pertaining to the day, listen to the address of the Hon'ble Prime Minister, through Video Conferencing , in the following offices :-
I. The AIS Officers , posted in the Civil Secretariat , in the Civil Secretariat , Jammu .
II . The IPS Officers , posted in the Police Headquarters and in the Districts of Jammu and Srinagar, at the PHQ at Jammu and Srinagar, respectively .
III . The IFS Officers , posted in the Districts of Jammu and Srinagar, in the Office of the PCCF at Jammu and Srinagar, respectively.
IV. The IAS officers posted as HoDs , and those in the Districts of Jammu and Srinagar, in the office of respective Divisional Commissioners .
V. The All India Services ( IAS /IPS/ IFS ) Officers , posted in the Districts and Sub- Divisions , in the offices of their respective Deputy Commissioners .
3. If the Video Conferencing facility is not available in any office listed above , the officers shall attend the conference at the nearest available facility, irrespective of the service.
4. The State Civil Services Officers , shall also participate in the celebrations at the nearest available venue , if not busy with official work.
5. The Heads of the Offices , in whose offices the Civil Services Day will be celebrated , shall also organize the conduct of workshops on the themes of Good Governance , Delivery of the Public Services , and Rural and Urban Sanitation .

Tender Notice
Sealed tender bids affixed with revenue stamps of Rs . 6/- are invited from the interesting parties/ agencies for lifting of wooden/ iron scraps annexured with this notice ( with all defects , as is where is basis) from this Press on the conditions mentioned below. The bids should reach the office of the undersigned by or before 08-06-2015 up to 12.00 Noon . The tender bids are likely to be opened on the same day by the Unit Purchase Committee of this Press in presence of interesting bidders .
Terms and Conditions :
1. The interesting parties should attach a CDR of Rs . 20,000/- pledged to General Manager, Government Press , Srinagar with their tender bid .
2. The bids should be quoted both in words and figures in the manner as under-
a) Wooden scrapes in lump sum above Rs . 10,000/- starting bid .
b) Iron scrapes above Rs . 20/- per Kg . (Starting bid) .
3. The highest bidders will have to lift the material within 15 days from this Press .
4. The highest bidder shall have to pay VAT/Taxes extra , if any, admissible under rules .

SRO- 108.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 3 of the Jammu and Kashmir Levy of Tolls Act, Svt . 1995 (VIII of 1995 ) , and in supersession of all previous notifications and orders issued on the subject, the Government hereby direct that the toll on vehicles 2 The J&K Govt . Gazette , 31st March , 2015 / 10th Chai . , 1937. [No. 52 -n of various types and goods shall be levied at the Toll Stations at the rates specified in Annexures ' A' , ' B ' and ' C ' to this notification .
Thisnotification shall come into force w . e . f. 01-04-2015 . By order of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 492 of the Code of Criminal Procedure , Samvat 1989 , the Government hereby appoint Shri Ahrar Ahmad Dar, Advocate , Handwara as Public Prosecutor, for a period of one year for the Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge , Handwara on the terms and conditions as laid down in Government Order No.1169 - LD (A) of 2002 dated 05-04-2002 read with Government Order No. 202 - LD( A) of 2003 dated 20-01-2003 and Government Order No. 2575 - LD (A ) of 2010 dated 10-12-2010.

In exercise of powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of section 12 of the Code of Criminal Procedure , Samvat 1989 , the Government hereby appoint Shri Irshad Ahmad Budoo , Tehsildar , in Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir to be the Executive Magistrate of the First Class who shall exercise all the powers of an Executive Magistrate of the First Class with such jurisdiction as may be assigned to him by the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.
