Whereas , the land specifications whereof are given in Annexure " A" to this notification , is required for public purposes i . e . for construction/ upgradation of approach road from Railway Station , Katra to SMVD University via Nangal (Length 7.00 KM) ; and Whereas , on the basis of the indent placed by Executive Engineer , PWD (R & B ) Division , Katra vide his No. 4091-92 dated 09-03-2011 , notification under section 4( 1 ) of the Land Acquisition Act was issued by Collector, Land Acquisition ( ACR) , Reasi vide No. Col/LA/ ACR/ Rsi / 15/441-45 dated 03-10-2015 ; and Whereas , the Collector , Land Acquisition (ACR) , Reasi reported that the notification issued by him under section 4 ( 1 ) of the J & K State 536 The J & K Govt . Gazette , 31st March , 2016/ 11th Chai . , 1938. [ No. 53
Land Acquisition Act was served upon the interested persons , for filing objections , if any, to the proposed acquisition but no objection was received within the stipulated period ; and
Whereas , the report furnished by Collector , Land Acquisition ( ACR ) , Reasi vide his letter No. Col/LA/ ACR/ Reasi/ 15/ 493-496 dated 21-10-2015 , duly endorsed by Deputy Commissioner, Reasi vide his No. DC /Rsi/ 15-16/2543-46/SQ dated 21-12-2015 , Divisional Commissioner, Jammu vide his letter No. 502/ 2545 /Acq/Rly - SMVD/Pamote /Reasi/ 2015/ 2535-36 dated 15-01-2016 and Financial Commissioner ( Revenue) , J & K vide his No. FC - LS /LA- 4441/ 2016 dated 19-01-2016 has been examined and it has been found that the land owners did not file any objection to the proposed acquisition ; and
Whereas , the Government is satisfied that the land particulars whereof are mentioned in Annexure " A " to this notification , is required for public purposes i . e . for construction/ upgradation of approach road from Railway Station , Katra to SMVD University via Nangal ( Length 7.00 KM) .
Now , therefore , in pursuance of section 6 of the J & K State Land Acquisition Act , Samvat 1990 , it is declared that the land measuring 56 Kanals and 09 Marlas situated in Village Pamote , Tehsil Katra , District Reasi , details whereof are indicated in Annexure " A " to this notification is required for public purposes viz . for construction/ upgradation of approach road from Railway Station , Katra to SMVD University via Nangal (Length 7.00 KM) . Further, the Collector , Land Acquisition ( ACR ) , Reasi is directed under section 7 of the said Act to take order for acquisition of the said land after giving prescribed notice to the interested person (s ) as required under the Land Acquisition Act /Rules thereunder.
However , the Collector concerned shall be personally responsible for proper title verification of all types of land involved in the case , in respect of all the interested persons / rightful claimants in accordance with the relevant laws/ rules in force , while making final award in the case .

Dated 25-01-2016 .
Whereas , the land specifications whereof are given in Annexure " А" to this notification , is required for public purposes i . e . for construction/ upgradation of approach road from Railway Station , Katra to SMVD University via Nangal ( Length 7.00 KM ) ; and
Whereas , on the basis of the indent placed by Executive Engineer , PWD ( R & B ) Division , Katra notification under section 4 ( 1 ) was issued by Collector (Deputy Commissioner ) , Reasi vide No. DC/ Rsi/ 11 / 1767-72 / SQ dated 16-11-2011 read with Corrigendum issued vide No. Col/LA/ ACR/ Rsi/ 15/425-31 dated 03-10-2015 , for land measuring 58 Kanals 18 Marlas and 05 Sirsai situated at Village Kundrorian , Tehsil Katra , District Reasi ; and
Whereas , the Collector, Land Acquisition (ACR ) , Reasi reported that the notification issued by him under section 4 ( 1) of the J & K State Land Acquisition Act , was served upon the interested persons for filing objections , if any, to the proposed acquisition but no objection was received within the stipulated period as required under sections 5 & 5 -A of Land Acquisition Act ; and
Whereas , the report furnished by Deputy Commissioner, Reasi vide his No. DC /Reasi/ 15-16/2551-54/SQ dated 21-12-2015 , duly endorsed by Divisional Commissiomer , Jammu vide his letter No. 502/ 2548/Acq/Rly- SMVD / Kundrorian/Reasi/2016/2541-42 dated 16-01-2016 and Financial Commissioner ( (Revenue ) , J & K vide his No. FC - LS /LA - 4443/ 2016 dated 19-01-2016 has been examined and it has been found that the land owners did not file any objection to the proposed acquisition ; and
Whereas , the Government is satisfied that the land particulars whereof are mentioned in Annexure " A " to this notification , is required for public purposes i . e for construction/ upgradation of approach road from Railway Station , Katra to SMVD University via Nangal ( Length 7.00 KM) .
Now , therefore , in pursuance of section 6 of the J & K State Land Acquisition Act, Samvat 1990 , it is declared that the land measuring 540 The J & K Govt . Gazette , 31st March , 2016/ 11th Chai . , 1938. [ No. 53
58 Kanals and 18 Marlas and 05 Sirsai situated in Village Kundrorian , Tehsil Katra , District Reasi , details whereof are indicated in Annexure "A" to this notification is required for public purposes viz . for construction/ upgradation of approach road from Railway Station , Katra to SMVD University via Nangal (Length 7.00 KM ) . Further , the Collector , Land Acquisition (ACR ) , Reasi is directed under section 7 of the said Act to take order for acquisition of the said land after giving prescribed notice to the interested person (s ) as required under the Land Acquisition Act/Rules thereunder.
However , the Collector concerned shall be personally responsible for proper title verification of all types of land involved in the case , in respect of all the interested persons /rightful claimants in accordance with the relevant laws/rules in force , while making final award in the case .

Whereas , notification as required under sub - section ( 1) of section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act , 1990 Svt . was issued by the Collector , Land Acquisition ( SDM) , R. S. Pura vide his notification issued under No. SDM/LA/Gharana/2015/ 1069 dated 07-09-2015 for the land measuring 157 Kanals 03 Marlas situated in Village Gharana, Tehsil Suchetgarh and District Jammu ; and
Whereas , as per the report furnished by the Deputy Commissioner , Jammu vide his No. DCJ/ LA/ BF - 135 ft- Gharana/2015-16/ 622-24 dated 19-11-2015 , no objections have been filed by the land owners/ interested persons within the stipulated period , as required under sections 5 & 5 (A) of the Land Acquisition Act ; and
Whereas , the undersigned is satisfied that the land , particulars whereof as mentioned above is required for public purpose and it is in public interest to acquire the land for construction of Border Fencing ( 135 feet wide strip) .
Now, therefore, it is declared under section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, ( Svt . ) 1990 that the aforementioned land is needed for public purpose . Further , the Collector, Land Acquisition ( SDM ) , R. S. Pura is directed under section 7 of the said Act, to take order for acquisition of the above specified land.
However, the Collector , Land Acquisition ( SDM ) , R. S. Pura shall be personally responsible for proper title verification of all types of land involved in the case , and in respect of all the interested parties /land owners/ rightful claimants in accordance with the relevant laws/rules in force , while making the final award in the case . Collector shall also ensure that no additional fruit/ non - fruit bearing trees and structures except already included are incorporated/ entertained after the issuance of declaration . Collector shall be personally responsible , if any, award for any additional land/FB Trees /NFB Trees/Structures is issued/has been issued separately for construction of Border Fencing ( 135 feet wide strip) ..
