Whereas, the land, specifications whereof are given in "Annexure-A" to this notification is required for public purpose viz. construction of Ring Road by NHAI at Village Chak Channu, Tehsil
Marh, District Jammu ;
Whereas, on the basis of indent prepared by Project Director, NHAI, 315/1, Jammu a notification under section 4(1) was issued by Collector, Land Acquisition (SDM Marh) No. SDM/M/Acq/Ring-Road/ 990 The J&K Govt. Gazette, 30th Nov., 2017/9th Agra., 1939. [No. 35 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– 2016-17/353-60 dated 16-09-2016 for land measuring 125 Kanal and 110 Sft. situated at Village Chak Channu, Tehsil Marh, District Jammu ; and
Whereas, the Collector, Land Acquisition (SDM Marh), Jammu
vide No. SDM/M/Acq/Ring Road/2016-17/758-59 dated 08-02-2017 has reported that the notification issued under section 4 (1) of the J&K State Land Acquisition Act by him was served upon the interested persons for filing objections, if any, to the proposed acquisition but no objection was received from the land owners/interested persons within the prescribed period as required under sections 5 & 5-A of Land
Acquisition Act ; and
Whereas, the report furnished by Collector, Land Acquisition (SDM Marh), Jammu vide above referred letter duly endorsed by District Collector (DC), Jammu vide No. 502/2716/R-R-NHAI/Chak Channu/J/2016-17/1530-32 dated 09-02-2017 and Divisional Commissioner, Jammu vide his No. 502/2825/Acq/R-R-NHAI/Chak
Channu/J/2016-17/3170-73 dated 16-02-2017 has been examined and it has been found that the land owners did not file any objection to the proposed acquisition ; and
Whereas, the Government is satisfied that the land particulars whereof are given above is required for public purpose viz. construction of Ring Road by NHAI at Village Chak Channu, Tehsil Marh, District
Jammu.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 6 of the J&K State Land Acquisition Act, Samvat 1990, it is declared that land measuring 125 Kanals and 110 Sft. situated at Village Chak Channu, Tehsil Marh, District Jammu, particulars whereof are given in "Annexure-A" is required for public purpose viz. for construction of Ring Road by NHAI
at Village Chak Channu, Tehsil Marh, District Jammu is directed under section 7 of the said Act to take order for acquisition of the said land after giving prescribed notice to the interested person(s) as required under the Land Acquisition Act/Rules.

Whereas, the land, specifications whereof are given in "Annexure-A" to this notification is required for public purpose viz. construction of Ring Road by NHAI at Village Malikpur, Tehsil R. S. Pura, District Jammu ;
Whereas, on the basis of indent prepared by Project Director, NHAI, 315/1, Jammu, a notification under section 4(1) was issued by Collector, Land Acquisition (SDM) R.S. Pura vide No. SDMR/LA/Ring Road/2016-17/1188-94 dated 12-09-2016 read with corrigendum dated 10-01-2017 for land measuring 84 Kanals, 09 Marlas and 03 Sirsai situated at Village Malikpur, Tehsil R. S. Pura, District Jammu ;
Whereas, the Collector, Land Acquisition (SDM), R.S. Pura, Jammu vide No. SDMR/LA/Ring Road/2016-17/563-64 dated 09-02-2017 has reported that the notification issued under section 4 (1) of the J&K State Land Acquisition Act by him was served upon the interested persons for filing objections, if any, to the proposed acquisition but no objection was received from the land owners/interested persons within the prescribed period as required under sections 5 & 5-A of Land Acquisition Act ;
Whereas, the report furnished by Collector, Land Acquisition (SDM), R.S. Pura, Jammu vide above referred letter duly endorsed by District Collector (DC), Jammu vide No. DCJ/LA/Ring Road/2016-17/ 1546-47 dated 13-02-2017 has been examined and it has been found that the land owners did not file any objection to the proposed acquisition ; and
Whereas, the Government is satisfied that the land particulars whereof are given above is required for public purpose viz. for construction of Ring Road by NHAI at Village Malikpur, Tehsil R.S. Pura, District Jammu.
996 The J&K Govt. Gazette, 30th Nov., 2017/9th Agra., 1939. [No. 35 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 6 of the J&K State Land Acquisition Act, Samvat 1990, it is declared that land measuring 84 Kanals 09, Marlas and 03 Sirsai situated at Village Malikpur, Tehsil R.S. Pura, District Jammu, particulars whereof are given above at "Annexure-A" is required for public purpose viz. for construction of Ring Road by NHAI. Further, the Collector, Land Acquisition (SDM) R. S. Pura, Jammu is directed under section 7 of the said Act to take order for acquisition of the said land after giving prescribed notice to the interested person(s) as required under the Land Acquisition Act/
Rules.

SRO-355.––In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to
section 124 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, the Governor
hereby makes the following amendments in the Jammu and Kashmir,
Medical and Dental Education (Appointment on Academic Arrangement
Basis) Rules, 2009, namely :––
(i) in sub-rule (i) of rule 3, for the words "teaching posts", the
words and figures "teaching posts, medical officers", shall
be substituted ;

"Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor", the words and signs
"Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor/Medical Officer" shall be
substituted.

Jammu and Kashmir Levy of Tolls Act, Samvat 1995 (Act No. VIII
of 1995), the Government hereby exempt from payment of levy of tolls
leviable under the said Act, "the material which includes, food grains,
tents, iron rods, lights, wires, bulbs and other decoration items to be
imported into the State by Bhagwan Shree Lakshmi Narayan Dham,
Jammu" for holding "Prabhu Kripa Duk Nivaran, Samagam" at
Bari Brahmana, District Samba w. e. f. 16-09-2017 to 28-09-2017,
provided that the Convenors of the said organization undertake that the
material so imported into the State are exclusively meant for the aforesaid
use only and shall be returned after completion of the event.
