Whereas , the report furnished by District Collector ( Deputy Commissioner) , Rajouri vide number referred to above duly endorsed by the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu vide No. 502 /3665 /PMGSY/Draj/ Raj /19 / 2437 dated 05-10-2019 , and by the Financial Commissioner , Revenue vide No. FC - LS /LA- 5014/ 2019 dated 18-10-2019 has been examined and it has been found that the land owners did not file any objection to the proposed acquisition ;
Whereas , the Government is satisfied that the land particulars whereof are given above is required for public purpose viz . for construction of road from LO23 to Shahpur under PMGSY situated in Village Draj , Tehsil Kotranka and District Rajouri .

Whereas , on the basis of an indent placed by Excutive Engineer , Division Doda , a notification under section 4 (1 ) was issued by Collector , Land Acquisition (ACR ) , Doda vide No.1487-95/ Acq dated 19-01-2019 for land measuring 34 Kanals and 07½ Marlas situated in Village Seel , Tehsil and District Doda ;
Whereas , the Collector , Land Acquisition ( ACR ) , Doda vide No. 795- 800/ Acq dated 21-09-2019 has reported that the notification issued under section 4 ( 1 ) of the J & K State Land Acquisition Act was served upon the interested persons for filing objections , if any, to the proposed acquisition but no objection was received from the land owners /interested persons within the prescribed period as required under sections 5 & 5 -A of the Land Acquisition Act ; and
Whereas , the report furnished by the Collector, Land Acquisition vide number referred to above duly endorsed by District Collector (Deputy Commissioner ) , Doda vide No. 346/ LAC/ D/ 19 dated 25-09-2019 , Divisional Commissioner , Jammu vide No. 502/3677 /PMGSY/ Seel/Doda/ 19/2414 dated 05-10-2019 and by the Financial Commissioner , Revenue vide No. FC - LS /LA - 5028/ 19 dated 18-10-2019 has been examined and it has been found that the land owners did not file any objection to the proposed acquisition:

Subject :-Notification of the elected Members for the Post of Chairman of the Standing Committee( s ) .
Whereas , in terms of section 40 of the Municipal Corporation Act , 2000 , J & K Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Act , 2018 and Regulation 50 of the Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Corporation (Procedure and Conduct of Business ) Regulations , 2005 , notification for election of Chairpersons of the Standing Committee( s ) was issued vide No. 4033-4066/ Secy/ 2019 / C dated 15-01-2020 ;
Whereas , scrutiny of the nomination papers received in response to above notification revealed that single nomination for the Public Health Sanitation Standing Committee and two 430 The J& K Govt . Gazette , 5th March, 2020/ 15th Phal . , 1941. [No. 49 nominations each for Swacch Bharat Standing Committee and Social Justice Standing Committee had been received for the election of Chairpersons of these Standing Committee( s ) .
Since , the number of valid nomination received for the Public Health Sanitation Standing Committee is one , it is mandatory to declare such candidate to be duly elected as Chairperson of the respective Standing Committee .
Since , two number of valid nominations received for each Swacch Bharat Standing Committee and Social Justice Standing Committee , the election was conducted on 21-01-2020 for the post of Chairman of both the Standing Committee ( s ) i . e . Swacch Bharat Standing Committee and Social Justice Standing Committee as per rules by secret ballot.
After election , the results were announced for Chairman of Swacch Bharat Standing Committee and Social Justice Standing Committee .
Now , therefore, in exercise of the power conferred under Regulation 50 of the Municipal Corporation ( Procedure and Conduct of Business ) Regulations 2005 , I , Chander Mohan Gupta , Mayor , Municipal Corporation , Jammu hereby declare members mentioned in the enclosed list as duly elected Chairpersons of the Standing Committee( s) mentioned therein .
