Government Order No. 80-JK(Rev) of 2024

Dated 25-06-2024.

Sanction is hereby accorded to the transfer of State Land Measuring

500 Kanals and 13 marlas under Khasra N. 10 situated at Village Nambal,

Tehsil and District Reasi in favour of Industries and Commerce Department

for establishment of Industries Estates.

It shall be subject to the following conditions :—

i. The land shall be used only for the purpose for which the sanction

of transfer has been accorded.

ii. The sanction has nothing to do with the process of allotment or

regularization of the land for Industrial units for wich Industries

and Commerce Department has to fulfill the criteria as required

under the laid down statutes.

iii. The land shall be put to use after obtaining all other permissions as

may be required for its establishment from the Competent Authority.

iv. The user department shall strictly adhere to all such provisions of

laws relating to Revenue/Forest/Housing & Urban Development

Department/J&K Water Resources (Regulation and Management)

Act, 2010 etc. If any land found part of water course/source shall

not be put to any use.

v. It would be the responsibility of the user department to comply

with directions of the Hon'ble High Court of J&K or any other

Competent Court with regard to the usage of the said land.

vi. No diversion of transferred land for any other purpose shall be

made.

viii. The Indenting Department to take possession of the land within 30

days from the transfer order, and land to be put to use within 03 years failing which the land shall revert back to the Government.

ix. The Revenue Department shall not be responsible for earmarking

and development of approach road.

x. The Government reserves the right to retrieve any unutilized

portion of the land from the department, if the same is required for any other public purpose.

xi This shall be without prejudice to the outcome of the writ

petition(s), if any, pending before the Competent Courts.

Dated 01-04-2024.

The Principal Accountant General J&K has apprised the Finance

Department that despite circular instructions issued by the department vide

circular issued under endorsement No. A/25(2014) 1003 dated

24-07-2019, A/Codes/Pension/2020-165 dated 11-02-2021 and FD-Code/

14/2021 021668 dated 18-10-2022, pension cases of some employees

who have retired after 01-01-2024 are being received without advance

pay verification.

The PAG has requested for issuance of fresh instructios to pension 256 The J&K Official Gazette, 29th Aug., 2024/7th Bhad., 1946. [No. 22 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– sanctioning authority impressing upon them to forward the service books of

employees, retiring between 01-07-2025 to 31-012-2025 and 01-01-2026 to

31-12-2026 for pay verification promptly.

Accordingly, all Administrative Secretaries are requested to direct

the Pension Sanctioning Authority subordinate to them to forward the service

books of employees retiring between 01-07-2025 to 31-12-2025 and

01-01-2026 to 31-12-2026 to the office of Accountant General for

verification, which shall facilitate timely sanction of pension cases on

superannuation.

65, 66 and 68 of the Municipal Act, 2000, Municipal Council, Kathua

MC KATRA

The huge influx of floating population in Katra Town with regard to Pilgrimage has increased the demand for Sanitation services to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. The transit nature of this population poses challenges in Waste Management, Public Restroom Facilities and overall Sanitation Infrastructure and to address this issue, it is essential to enhance user charges which have not been revised since 2019.

Accordingly the proposed maximum rates of Fee under Section 66(1) (xiv) of Municipal Act, 2000 and SWM Rules, 2019 are as under:—

K. Chowdhary, IPS (AGMUT : 1991), as Chairman, Public Service Commission for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. He shall hold the position of the Chairman, Public Service Commission, till he attains the age of sixty two years.

Whereas, vide order No. 14017/213/2024-NI-MFO dated 11th January, 2024, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, approval of the Central Government under Section 42 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 has been conveyed to all the States and the Union Territory administrations to the effect that the States and Union Territory administrations may, by order in writing, direct that any power which has been directed to be exercised by it, shall, in such circumstances and under such conditions, as may be specified in the direction, be exercised by any person subordinate to the State Government or the Union Territory administrations, as the case may be.

Now, therefore, the Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, with the previous approval of the Central Government, conveyed vide order No. 14017/1/2024-NI-MFO dated 11th January, 2024, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, hereby directs that the powers exercisable by the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir under Section 7 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967) shall be exercised by the Inspector(s) General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir Zones, within their respective territorial jurisdictions and further directs that the powers exerciseable by the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir under Section 8 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967) shall be exercised by the Divisional Commissioner(s), Jammu/Kashmir, within their respective territorial jurisdictions.

SO–125.—Whereas, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of

India, vide notification S.O. 5462 (E) dated 27th December, 2023, issued

under Sub-Section (1) of Section (3) of the Unlawful Activities

(Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967) declared the Muslim League Jammu

and Kashmir (Masrat Alam faction) (hereinafter referred to as the

Whereas, subsequently, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government

of India, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 42 of the

(E) dated 11th January, 2024, directed that the State Government(s) and

the Union Territory administration(s) shall exercise all the powers

exerciseable by the Central Government under Sections 7 and 8 of the

Sunil Kumar, JKAS, Additional Deputy Commissoner Bhaderwah to be the Executive Magistrate, who shall exercise all the powers of an Executive Magistrate within the territorial jurisdiction of Sub-Division Bhaderwah.

The Government further in exercise of the powers conferred as contained in Sub-Section (2) of Section (20) of the said code appoint the aforesaid Executive Magistrate as Additional District Magistrate within the territorial Jurisdiction of Sub-Division Bhaderwah, who shall have all the powers of District Magistrate under the said code.
