No.- Earlier in compliance to order dated 18.01.2013 passed in WP (PIL) No. 4663/2009 Hemendra Pratap Dehati vs the State of Jharkhand and ors, a High Power Committee under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Justice Deoki Nandan Prasad, Retd. Judge Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi have been constituted vide Gazette Publication No. 103 Ranchi dated 04.03.2013 read with notification no. 1333 dated 01.03.2013 to examine and suggest a concrete plan on tapping water from Kanhar river for providing irrigation and drinking water facilities to the drought prone areas of Division Palamu.

2. While hearing the instant matter WP(PIL) no. 4663/2009 on 30.07.2018 the Hon'ble High Court, Jharkhand have been pleased to pass an order dated 30.07.2018 in following terms:-

"2. In view of the aforesaid facts, prayer is allowed. Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Palamu Constituency Mr. Bishnu Dayal Ram is directed to be substituted in place of the erstwhile Hon'ble Member Mr. Inder Singh Namdhari. All the subsequent proceedings henceforth of the High Power Committee would abide by the directions passed today." 2 Jharkhand Gazette (Extraordinary), Thursday, 29th November, 2018 3. In pursuance of the aforesaid order dated 30.07.2018 the gazette publication no. 103, Ranchi dated

04.03.2013 read with notification no. 1333 dated 01.03.2013 regarding constitution of High Power Committee under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Deoki Nandan Prasad,, Retd. Judge Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi is modified as below:-

i. Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department, Govt. of Jharkhand, Ranchi (Co- ordinator)

ii. Chief Engineer, Lower Ganga Basin Organization, Central Water Commission, New Delhi.

iii. Member to be nominated by the Chief Secretary, Chhattisgarh.

iv. Engineer-in-Chief, Water Resources Department, Govt. of Jharkhand.

v. Superintending Engineer, Design, Planning & Monitoring Circle, Ranchi.

vi. Executive Engineer, Investigation Division, Garhwa, Govt. of Jharkhand.

Expert Advisor

i. Sri Bishnu Dayal Ram, Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Palamu,

ii. Sri Hemendra Pratap Dehati, Petitioner, and

iii. Sri C.D. Singh, Advocate, Jharkhand High Court.

Other conditions laid down in the previous notification will remain as same.
