No. 17/2020/R&S--In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 29 of the Bihar Reorganisation Act, 2000 (Act XXX of 2000), and all other powers enabling in this behalf, the High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi hereby amend Rule 245 and Rule 247 of the High Court of Jharkhand Rules, 2001 as follows;
"Rule 245. The fees hereinbefore provided shall be payable in advance at the time when the
petition for service or execution is presented and shall be paid by means of Court-fee stamps
affixed / e-payment of Court Fee to the petition in addition to the stamps necessary for its own
validity."
"Rule 247. The following fees shall be charged on every application made in respect of the
following matters and such fees shall be paid by means of Court-fee stamps affixed/ e-payment of
Court Fee to such application:—

Aforesaid amendment shall take effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of Jharkhand.

No. 20/2020/R&S--In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 227(2) (b) of the Constitution of India, the High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi hereby insert Rule 376 A in the Civil Court Rules of the High Court of Jharkhand as follows;
"Rule 376A: The fees as referred to in Part-V of the Civil Court Rules of the High Court of
Jharkhand shall be collected by court fee stamps or e-payment of Court Fee."
Aforesaid amendment shall take effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of Jharkhand.
By order of the Court
