NOTIFICATION

S.O.-25-dated-12th June, 2020--In exercise of the powers conferred by Section-3, 4 and 5 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Act No.-49 of 1988) in consultation with the Hon'ble Jharkhand High Court, the Governor of Jharkhand established 07 (Seven) Special Courts for Speedy trial of offences or conspiracies to commit any such offences or attempt to commit any such offences or abetment for commission of such offences, punishable under Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 relating to AHD Scam Cases vide Law Department's Notification No.-818/J, dated 11-06-2001 and extended their duration time-to-time as required. Lastly, the duration of 05 (Five) Special Courts out of the above 07 (Seven) Special Courts was extended till 15-06-2020 vide Law Department's Notification No.-1254/J, dated 13-06-2017.
2. On the basis of requisition of Central Bureau of Investigation, Ranchi, the duration of 03 (three) Special Courts are extended out of above 05 (Five) Special Courts for further three years from 16th June, 2020 to 15th June, 2023, in consultation with the Hon'ble Jharkhand High Court.
