S.O.—32-- In exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 165 (1), (2), (3) and (4) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Act No. 59 of 1988 as amended by Act 54 of 1994), the State Government in consultation with the Hon'ble High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi, is pleased to establish an additional Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Tribunal at Ranchi for the purpose of exercising in the jurisdiction and powers conferred in claims tribunals under the said Act. The jurisdction of the above Tribunal shall be the local limits of Ranchi District.
