No- 2/D.M.-40/2010----3155/D.M. -- In exercise of the powers conferred under section-25(1) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, the Governor of Jharkhand hereby re-constitutes the District Disaster Management Authority of each district of Jharkhand constituted vide notification no.-824, dated-22.09.2010 under section-25 of the said act, as follows :-
1. Deputy Commissioner - Chairperson
2. Duly elected Chairperson of Zila Parishad - Co-Chairperson
3. Chairperson of district headquarter
located urban local body. - Member
4. Senior Superintendent of Police/
Superintendent of Police - Member
5. Divisional Forest Officer of district
headquarter - Member
6. Additional Collector/ Additional Deputy
Commissioner - Chief Executive Officer
7. Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer - Member
2. Above re-constituted district authority shall be responsible to ensure compliance in accordance with the provisions of Disaster Management Act, 2005.
Approval of Honourable Chief Minister has been accorded to above mentioned.
