No. 05/Sa.Bhu. Vividh (COVID-19)- 88/ 2020 – 2827/Ra. -- The current situation arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuing lock down and its effect on the economic activities have collectively resulted in sharp reduction in the revenue collection of the State Government. In order to meet this challenge, the Additional Chief Secretaries/Principal Secretaries/Secretaries of the various departments of the State Government have been taking various steps to augment resources of the State.

Many Central Public Sector Undertakings such as M/s CCL, M/s BCCL, M/s ECL, M/s NTPC , M/s UCIL, M/s SAIL etc are working in a big way in the state of Jharkhand in the field of mining and manufacturing sector. It has been noticed that a huge amount of government revenue arrears remain to be recovered from these Central Public Sector Undertakings. It was also felt that there is no institutional mechanism in place to ensure timely realization of theserevenue arrears. Accordingly, it has become necessary and desirable to put in place a mechanism to ensure augmentation of state revenue by its realization from the Central Public Sector Undertakings. 2 Jharkhand Gazette (Extraordinary), Tuesday, 13th October, 2020 The Government of Jharkhand has therefore decided to constitute the following committee to compile the data related to revenue arrears to be paid by Central P.S.Us to the Statement Government, prepare an action plan for its realization and monitor the process of its recovery.

2 Principal Secretary/ Secretary, Department of :- Member

Finance, Govt. of Jharkhand.

3 Principal Secretary/ Secretary, Revenue, Registration :- Member

and Land Reforms Department, Govt. of Jharkhand

4 Principal Secretary/ Secretary, Department of Mines, :- Member

Govt. of Jharkhand

5 Principal Secretary/ Secretary, Water Resources :- Member

Department, Govt. of Jharkhand

The Advocate General, Jharkhand, shall be a Special Invitee in all the meetings and deliberations of the Committee.

PTO The Committee shall hold meeting at least once in a month at the place and venue to be decided by the Chairman of the Committee.
