Adani Power (Jharkhand) Limited having its registered office at Adani Corporate House, Shantigram, S.G. Road, Ahmedabad, Gujrat, India, Government of Jharkhand, India had applied for grant of authorization under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for construction of 66 KV Single circuit dedicated overhead transmission line from coal based thermal power plant (2X800 MW) in Godda District to Main Pump House in Sahibganj District via Booster Pump house at village Thakurgangti within Jharkhand state.
And whereas Government of Jharkhand, Energy Department vide letter no. 2900/2015 dated 03 December 2019 had granted prior approval to APJL under section 68 of the electricity Act, 2003 for construction of 66 KV Single circuit dedicated overhead transmission line from coal based thermal power plant (2X800 MW) in Godda District to Main Pump House in Sahibganj District via Booster Pump house at village Thakurgangti within Jharkhand state.
And whereas Government of Jharkhand, Energy Department vide letter no. 1393 dated 20 July 2020 also grant an approval to APJL under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by the Government or to be so established or maintained for the works, for laying of 66 KV Single circuit dedicated overhead transmission line from coal based thermal power plant (2X800 MW) in Godda District to Main Pump House in Sahibganj District via Booster Pump house at village Thakurgangti within Jharkhand state.
Transmission Lines:
1- 66 KV Single circuit dedicated transmission Line from 2X800 USCTPP, Motia-Godda to Main Pump House-Sahibganj. via Booster Pump house at village Thakurgangti within Jharkhand state.
The Transmission Lines covered under the scheme will pass through, over, around and between the following villages, towns and cities in the state of Jharkhand.

Adani Power (Jharkhand) Limited (APJL) had complied with the Energy Department procedure & obtained the authorization under section 164 of Electricity Act, 2003 for the above scheme. After consideration, Energy Department, Government of Jharkhand, under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, grant all the powers to Adani Power (Jharkhand) Limited (APJL) for laying above transmission lines, which telegraph authority possesses under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained, by Government or to be established or maintained subject to following terms & conditions for installing the above mentioned transmission lines, namely:
i. The applicant shall have to seek the NOC for the crossing of the existing 400 KV, 220 KV, 132 KV, 33 KV & other distribution lines before erection of proposed 66 KV Single circuit dedicated Transmission line.
ii. The approval is subjected to compliance by the Applicant of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and rules made thereunder.
iii. The applicant shall have to follow regulations/ codes of Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commissions.
