S.O.-1—Dated 27th January, 2021-- The State Government in consultation with the Hon'ble High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi, is pleased to create 01 (One) Special Court of the rank of District Judge & 01 (One) Special Court of the rank of Civil Judge (Jr. Division) each in Hazaribagh, Dumka, Daltonganj and West Singhbhum (Chaibasa) and 01 (One) Special Court of the rank of Civil Judge (Jr. Division) each in Ranchi and Dhanbad for speedy disposal of criminal cases involving elected MPs/MLAs of the State of Jharkhand, the jurisdictions of those shall be as follows:-

| 4. | Dumka | Dumka, Deoghar, Pakur, Sahibganj, Godda & Jamtara. |
| 5. | Daltonganj | Daltonganj (Palamau), Garhwa & Latehar. |
| 6. | West Singhbhum (Chaibasa) | West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum & Saraikela-Kharsawan. |
2. The Special Courts in the rank of District Judge, shall also exercise the power of the Appellate Court against the Judgement/Order of the Special Court of the rank of Civil Judge (Jr. Division).
3. Accordingly, Law Department's Notification No.-1889, Dated-27.09.2019 should be deemed amended to this extent.
4. For the aforesaid purpose, the deputed Officers be directed to execute above assignment in addition to their allotted work.
5. This Notification will be effective with immediate effect.
