Notification No.- 3/2023 – State Tax(Rate)
S.O. No. 26, Dated 5th June, 2023 -- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 and sub-section (5) of section 15 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Government of Jharkhand, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of Jharkhand in the Commercial Taxes Department, No.1/2017-State Tax (Rate), dated the 29thJune, 2017, published in the Gazette of Jharkhand, Extraordinary, vide S.O. No. 31, dated the 29thJune, 2017, namely: -
In the said notification, -
(i) in Schedule I –2.5%, against S. No. 91A, in column (3), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely: -
"Jaggery of all types including Cane Jaggery (gur), Palmyra Jaggery, pre-packaged and labelled; Khandsari Sugar, pre-packaged and labelled; Rab, pre-packaged and labelled ";
(ii) in Schedule II –6%, after S. No. 186 and entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely: -2 Jharkhand Gazette (Extraordinary), Monday, 5th June, 2023

(iii) in Schedule III –9%,against S. No. 302A, in column (3), at the end, the brackets and words "[other than pencil sharpeners]" shall be inserted.
2. This notification shall be deemed to be effective from the 01st March, 2023.

एस. ओ. सं. 26, दिनांक 5 जून, 2023 - झारख(cid:7003)ड माल और सेवा कर अधिनियम, 2017 (2017 का 12) की धारा 9 की उप धारा (1) और धारा 15 की उप धारा (5) के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते (cid:7263)ए, झारख(cid:7003)ड सरकार, जीएसटी परिषद की सिफारिशों के आधार पर, एतदद्वारा, झारख(cid:7003)ड सरकार, वाणिज्य-कर विभाग की अधिसूचना संख्या 1/2017- राज्य कर (दर), दिनांक 29 जून, 2017 को एस. ओ. सं. 31, दिनांक 29 जून,2017 के तहत झारख(cid:7003)ड के राजपत्र,असाधारण में प्रकाशित किया गया था, में और आगे भी निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है, यथा:-
उक्त अधिसूचना में,-
(i) अनुसूची I- 2.5% में,(cid:7059)म संख्या 91 क के समक्ष, कॉलम (3) की प्रतिष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, यथाः-
"गन्ने के गुड़, पलमायरा गुड़ सहित सभी प्रकार के गुड़, जो प्री-पैके ज्ड और लेबल किये गए हों;
खांडसारी शुगर,जो प्री-पैके ज्ड और लेबल की गई हो; राब, जो प्री -पैके ज्ड और लेबल की गई हो";
(ii) अनुसूची II-6% में, (cid:7059)म संख्या 186 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के बाद, निम्नलिखित (cid:7059)म संख्या और प्रविष्टियाँ अंतःस्थापित की जाएँगी, अर्थात्:-

(iii) अनुसूची III-9% में, (cid:7059)म संख्या 302क के सामने, कॉलम (3) में, अंत में, कोष्ठक और शब्द"[ पेंसिल शार्पनर्स के अलावा अंतःस्थापित]" किए जाएंगे I
2. यह अधिसूचना दिनांक 01 मार्च, 2023 से लागू मानी जाएगी ।
