संख्या--100/र्पूा अुि०-1/झार.-र्व.स./01/2024 :- यत् झारखण्ड रा्य क विधान साा ें 31-गाण्डेय विधान साा ननवााचन ऺेत्र से ननवााधचत डॉ सरफराज अहमद के ऩद से त्यागऩत्र एदज जाने के ऩणरणाें वरूपऩ एदनाॊक 31 ददसम्बर, 2023 से थान रिक्त हो गया है; और
2. यत् इस प्रकार हुई रिक्ति को ारने के प्रयोजन से उऩ-ननवााचन कराया जाना है;
3. अत्, अब, ऱोक प्रनतननधधत्व अधधननयें , 1951 (1951 का 43) क धारा 150 क उऩधारा (1) और धारा 30 और 56 के अनुसरण ें ाारत ननवााचन आयोग जतद्द्वारा :-
2 झारखण्ड गजट (असाधारण) ुिक्रवार, 26 अप्रैऱ, 2024(अ) झारखण्ड रा्य से उक्त 31-गाण्डेय विधान साा ननवााचन ऺेत्र से यह अऩेऺा करता है कक उक्त अधधननयें के और तद्धीन बनाये गये ननयें ों और ककये गये आदेोिं के उऩबन्धों के अनुसार 06 जू,ि 2024 से ऩूवा रा्य क विधान साा ें हुई उक्त रिक्ति को ारने के प्रयोजन से जक व्यक्त ननवााधचत कर ;
(आ) उ्त ननवााचन के सम्बन्ध ें :-
(क) नाें ननदेनि करने क अकन्तें तारीख
: 03 ें ई, 2024 (ुिक्रवार)
: 04 ें ई, 2024 (निनवार) (ख) नाें ननदेनिों क सॊवीऺा क तारीख

(ग) अभ्यधथाताजॊ वाऩस ऱेने क अकन्तें तारीख
: 06 ें ई, 2024 (सोें वार) ीी
(घ) र्ह तारीख जजसको, यदद र्आश्यक हुआ तो मतदा िहोगा : 20 मई, 2024 (सोर्मार)
(ड.) वह तारीख कजससे ऩूवा ननवााचन सम्ऩन्न करा शऱया जाजगा : 06 जून, 2024 (बृहऩनतवार) ननयत करता है; और
(इ) 7:00 बजे से 5:00 बजे तक का सें य ऐसे सें य के रूपऩ ें ननयत करता है कजसके दौरान, यएद आवश्यक हुआ तो, ननवााचन के शऱज उक्त विननएदाष्ट तारीख को ें तदान होगा।

NOTIFICATION
26th April, 2024/06 Vaisakha, 1946 (Saka)
No.100/ES-1/JKD-LA/1/2024:- WHEREAS, the seat of Dr. Sarfraz Ahmad, in the Legislative Assembly of the State of Jharkhand, elected from 31-Gandey Assembly Constituency in the State, has become vacant on 31st Decempter, 2023 by reason of his resignation from the post;
and
2. WHEREAS, a bye-election is to be held for the purpose of filling the said vacancy;
3. NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 150 and sections 30 and 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India hereby-
(A) Calls upon the said 31-Gandey Assembly Constituency in the State of Jharkhand, to elect, before the 06th June 2024 and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder, a person, for the purpose of filling the said vacancy in the Legislative Assembly of the State;
(B) Appoints, with respect to the said election:-
(a) the 03rd May, 2024 (Friday) : as the last date for making nominations;
(b) the 04th May, 2024 (Saturday) : as the date for the scrutiny of nominations;
(c) the 06th May, 2024 (Monday) : as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures;
(d) the 20th May, 2024 (Monday) : as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary,
be taken; and
(e) the 06th June, 2024 (Thursday) : as the date before which the election shall be
completed; and
(C) Fixes the hours from 7.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M as the hours during which the poll shall, if necessary, be taken on the date specified above for the election.
