Jharkhand Gazette (Extraordinary), Monday, 13th May, 2024 2Whereas the Petitioner Naresh Kumar Murmu has filed an Election Petition bearing E.P No. 07 of 2020 calling in question the election of the Respodent in the General Election held in the month of November/December, 2019 from 46-Potka (Scheduled Tribe) Assembly Constituency.
And whereas the Petitioner Naresh Kumar Murmu has filed an Interlocutory Application bearing I.A No. 5952/2022 in Election Petition No. 07/2020 in this Court which relates to the Election of Sanjib Sardar (Returned Candidate) from the 46-Potka (Schedule Tribe) Constituency in the 5th Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha Elections.
And whereas the Hon'ble Court have been pleased to fix the date of hearing of I.A No. 5952 of 2022 on 21.06.2024 in the instant Election Petition in light of Section 109 and Section 110 of the Representation of Peoples Act, 1951.
Take notice that in the event of non-appearance of an interested party on the day mentioned above the Election Petition will be heard and decided ex-parte.
