JSERC (Rooftop Solar PV Grid Interactive System and Net/Gross Metering)
(Fifth Amendment) Regulations, 2024
Notification no 108--In order to promote generation of Renewable Energy in the State of Jharkhand, the Commission in exercise of powers conferred upon it under Section 181(1), read with Section 61(h), and 86(1)(a), (b) and (e) of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003) and all other powers enabling in it on that behalf, the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission hereby makes the following Regulations to amend the JSERC (Rooftop Solar PV Grid Interactive System and Net/ Gross Metering) 2 Jharkhand Gazette (Extraordinary), Monday, 16th December, 2024 1. Short Title and Commencement 1.1. These Regulations may be called the JSERC (Rooftop Solar PV Grid Interactive System and Net/ Gross Metering) (Fifth Amendment) Regulations, 2024.
1.2. These Regulations shall extend to the State of Jharkhand.
1.3. These Regulations shall come into force from the date of their publicationin the Government of Jharkhand gazette unless reviewed earlier or extended by the Commission.
2. Amendment to Clause 8.2
The above Clause of the Principal Regulations is deleted and replaced as follows:
"The voltage level at which the rooftop solar PV system installed at the premises of the consumer shall
be connected with the distribution system according to Clause 4.3 of JSERC (Electricity Supply Code)
Regulations, 2015 and amendments thereon."
