No. 23/2025-ERS (Vol. II)
Whereas, the Commission, vide its letter no 23/2025-ERS (Vol.II) dated 14.05.2026, had announced Special Intensive Revision in 19 States/UTs including Jharkhand.
Whereas, in the state of Jharkhand, the draft roll was published on 05.08.2026 and the period of filing claims and objections was fixed from 05.08.2026 to 04.09.2026; and
Whereas the Commission on the request of Chief Electoral Officer, Jharkhand, and in exercise of the power conferred by proviso to Rule 12 of the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, has decided to extend, the period for filing claims and objections up to 15.09.2026 for ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls with reference to 01.10.2026 as the qualifying date in the State of Jharkhand.
