2. Amendment of Schedule VI – In the Karnataka Government Secretariat Services (Recruitment) Rules, 2019, in Schedule VI, under the heading "OFFICE OF THE RESIDENT COMMISSIONER NEW DELHI".
(i) for serial number 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
| "6 | Legal Officer | 1 | By Deputation of an officer not below the rank of an Under Secretary to Government from the Karnataka Government Secretariat Service or any of the State Civil Services possessing a degree in law. '' |
(ii) in serial number 8 in the category of posts of "Deputy Liaison Officer" for column (4) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted.
"By Promotion from the cadre of Office Superintendent or Assistant Liaison Officer."
(iii) the category of posts of "Despatch Rider (Three Wheeler)" at serial number 17 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted; and
(iv) in serial number 18, the category of post of "Despatch Rider (Two Wheeler)" in column (3) for the figure "1", the figure "2" shall be substituted.
