NOTIFICATION
Whereas the draft of the following rules further to amend the Karnataka Civil Services Rules, was published as required by clause(a) of sub-section-(2) of Section 3 read with Section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) in Notification No. FD 6 SRA 2020, dated 20.11.2020 in Part IV-A of the Karnataka Gazette dated 20.11.2020 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby within fifteen days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Whereas the said Gazette was made available to the public on 20.11.2020.
And whereas, no objections and suggestions have been received by the State Government.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of Section 3 read with Section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules, namely:-
RULES
1. Title and Commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Civil Services (Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(1)2 (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette.
2. Amendment of rule 213.- In the Karnataka Civil Services Rules (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) in rule 213, sub- rule (4), shall be omitted.
3. Amendment of rule 214.- In rule 214 of the said rules, in sub- rule (1), in clause (b), the first proviso, there to shall be omitted.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ನಾಗರೀಕ ಸೇವಾ ನಿಯಮಾವಳಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಾಡುವ ನಿಯಮಗಳ ಕರಡನ್ನು ಅದರಿಂದ ತೊಂದರೆಗೊಳಗಾಗಬಹುದಾದ ಸಂಭವವಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಕರಡು ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದ ದಿನಾಂಕದಿಂದ ಹದಿನೈದು ದಿನಗಳೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಗಳು/ಸಲಹೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿ, ದಿನಾಂಕ:20.11.2020 ರಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ್ರದ ಭಾಗ-IV-ಎ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ: ಎಫ್‌ಡಿ 6 ಎಸ್ಆರ್ಎ 2020, ದಿನಾಂಕ:20.11.2020 ನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ನಾಗರೀಕ ಸೇವಾ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ 1978ರ (1990ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 14) ಪ್ರಕರಣ 8ರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಓದಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವ 3ನೇ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ 2ನೇ ಉಪಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಖಂಡ(ಎ)ದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಗತ್ಯಪಡಿಸಲಾದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ;
ಸದರಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ:20.11.2020 ರಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ದೊರೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಗಳೂ/ಸಲಹೆಗಳು ಬಂದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲವಾದ್ದರಿಂದ;

Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 2973 ಈಗ 1978ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ನಾಗರೀಕ ಸೇವಾ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮದ (1990ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 14) ಪ್ರಕರಣ 8 ರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಓದಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾದ 3ನೇ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ (1)ನೇ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಿಂದ ಪ್ರದತ್ತವಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಎಂದರೆ:-
ನಿಯಮಗಳು
1. ಹೆಸರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ .- (1) ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಸೇವಾ (ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ) ನಿಯಮಗಳು, 2020 ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
(2) ಇವು ಅಧಿಕೃತ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಗೊಂಡ ದಿನಾಂಕದಿಂದ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬರತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
2. ನಿಯಮ 213 ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ.- ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಸೇವಾ ನಿಯಮಗಳು (ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಸದರಿ ನಿಯಮ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ) ನಿಯಮ 213 ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಉಪನಿಯಮ (4) ನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
3. ನಿಯಮ 214 ರ ತಿದ್ದಪಡಿ.- ಸದರಿ ನಿಯಮಗಳ ನಿಯಮ 214ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಉಪನಿಯಮ (1)ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಖಂಡ (ಬಿ) ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಮೊದಲ ಪರಂತುಕವನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
