NOTIFICATION
Whereas the draft of the rules further to amend the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal (Recruitment) Rules, 1993 was published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) in Notification No DPAR 19 SAT 2020 dated:08.12.2020 in Part IV-A. No.663. of the Karnataka Extraordinary Gazette dated:08.12.2020 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby within fifteen days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
whereas the said Gazette was made available to public on 08.12.2020.
And whereas the objections and suggestions received in this behalf have been considered by the State Government.
Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act,1978(Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules namely:-
RULES
1. Title and Commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2021.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment of Schedule – In the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal (Recruitment) Rules, 1993, in the Schedule, in serial number 3, in the category of post of "ASSISTANT REGISTRAR", for column (2) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely, R.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 2 "By promotion from the cadre of Section Officer, Court Officer and Personal Secretary-cum- Judgment Writers in the ratio of 2:1:2, every first and second vacancies be filled by promotion from the cadre of Section Officer, third vacancy be filled by promotion from the cadre of Court Officer and fourth and fifth vacancies be filled by promotion from the cadres of Personal Secretary-cum- Judgment Writer.
If no suitable candidate is available for promotion, then by deputation of an officer in the Cadre of Civil Judge (Junior Division) from the Karnataka Judicial Service."
