2. ಅನುಸೂ(cid:283)(cid:146)ೆ (cid:294)ದು(cid:197)ಪ(cid:291):- The Karnataka Revenue Subordinate Branch Services (Recruitment) Rules, 1977ರ ಅನುಸೂ(cid:283)ಯ(cid:313)(cid:208), "First Division Clerks including Revenue Inspectors" ಪ(cid:206)ವಗ(cid:143)ದ ಹು(cid:161)ೆ(cid:197)ಗ(cid:314)(cid:146)ೆ ಸಂಬಂ(cid:297)(cid:318)ದ ನಮೂದುಗಳ ಬದ(cid:172)ಾ(cid:278) ಈ (cid:144)ೆಳಕಂಡ ನಮೂದುಗಳನು(cid:199) ಪ(cid:206)(cid:294)(cid:372)ೕ(cid:285)ಸತಕ(cid:180)ದು(cid:197).

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the draft of The Karnataka Revenue Subordinate Branch Services (Recruitment) Rules, 1977, was published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990), in Notification No. RD 20 BSI 2021, dated:29.07.2021 in Part IVA (no.718) of the Karnataka Extra-ordinary Gazette dated 29.07.2021 inviting objections and suggestions from persons likely to be affected thereby within fifteen days from the date of publication of draft in the Official Gezette.
Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to the Public on 29th July 2021.
And, whereas objection and suggestions received have been considered by the State Government.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka makes the following rules, namely:-
RULES
1. Title and Commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Revenue Subordinate Branch Services (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2021.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment of Schedule:- In the schedule to the Karnataka Revenue Subordinate Branch Services (Recruitment) Rules, 1977, for the entries relating to the category of posts of "First Division Clerks including Revenue Inspectors" the following shall be substituted, namely:-

| First Division Assistant including Revenue Inspectors | (i) Thirty percent by Direct Recruitment in accordance with the Karnataka State Civil Services (Recruitment to Ministerial Posts) Rules, 1978 and (ii) Seventy percent by promotion from the cadre of Second Division Assistant and Village Accountants on the basis of combined seniority, seniority being determined based on the length of service in the respective Cadres. Seniority interse being maintained. | For Direct Recruitment:- In accordance with the Karnataka State Civil Services (Recruitment to Ministerial Posts) Rules, 1978. For Promotion:- Must have put in a service of not less than five years in the Cadres specified in column (2) |
