NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 84 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 [Central Act 16 of 2016], the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Karnataka Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017, namely:-
RULES
1. Title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Real Estate (Regulation and Development) (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
2. Amendment of rule 19.- In the Karnataka Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017, in rule 19, in sub-rule (1), for clause (b), the following shall be substituted, namely,- "the Members of the Authority shall be paid a minimum of the pay of the Secretary to the Government or the last basic pay drawn in the post held by such person, before the appointment as a Member of the Authority whichever is higher."
