NOTIFICATION - I

In exercise of the powers conferred on me under sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 (Central Act No. 10 of 1994) and after obtaining the recommendations of the committee specified in the proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 22, I, Thaawarchand Gehlot, Governor of Karnataka, hereby appoint Hon'ble Mr. Justice L. Narayana Swamy, Former Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court, as the Chairperson of the Karnataka Human Rights Commission.
