NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 46(3) of the Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act, 2016 read with Rule 31 of the Karnataka Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Rules, 2017, the Government of Karnataka hereby appoints Sri Mahendra Jain IAS (Rtd) as Technical / Administrative Member of the Karnataka Real Estate Appellate Tribunal.
2) Before taking charge as Technical / Administrative Member of the Appellate Tribunal, the person so appointed shall, as a condition precedent, vacate office, if any, under the State / Central Government or any Public Undertaking or any Government body held by him or is otherwise gainfully employed or engaged in the service of any person, either by way of resignation or taking voluntary retirement from such service.
3) The term of the Technical / Administrative Member shall be for a period of five years from the date of his assumption of charge of the post or till he attains the age of sixty five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, and he shall not be R.N.I. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 2 4) The appointment of Technical / Administrative Member is governed by the terms of appointment laid down in the Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act, 2016, read with the Karnataka Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Rules, 2017 and amendments thereon from time to time.
5) The salary and allowances of the Technical / Administrative Member shall be in terms of Rule 36 of the Karnataka Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Rules, 2017 and amendments thereon from time to time.
