NOTIFICATION

No.155/KT-LC/2024(2): - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission, hereby makes the following further amendments in its notification no. 155/KТ- LC/2007(2) dated 27th September, 2007, as amended from time to time, relating to the appointment of Assistant Returning Officers for Council Constituencies in the State of Karnataka, namely;

In the Table appended to the said notification, under the heading "GRADUATES' CONSTITUENCIES",

(a) Against entry "Karnataka North-East Graduates" of Column (1), the existing entry in Column (2) namely, "6. Deputy Commissioner, Davanagere" shall be substituted with "6. Deputy Commissioner, Vijayanagara".

(b) Against entry "Karnataka South-West Graduates" of Column (1), after the existing entries in Column (2), the entry "7. Additional Commissioner (Administration & Development), Office of the Regional Commissioner, Mysuru Division, Mysuru" shall beadded. (1) R.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 2 (c) Against entry "Bangalore Graduates" of Column (1), after the existing entries in Column (2), the entry "12. Special Commissioner (Elections), Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, Bengaluru" shall be added.

(d) Against entry "Karnataka South-East Teachers" of Column (1), after the existing entries in Column (2), the entry "5. Special Commissioner (Elections), Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, Bengaluru" shall be added.

(e) Against entry "Karnataka South-West Teachers" of Column (1), after the existing entries in Column (2), the entry "7. Additional Commissioner (Administration & Development), Office of the Regional Commissioner, Mysuru Division, Mysuru" shall be added.

(f) Against entry "Karnataka South Teachers" of Column (1), after the existing entries in Column (2), the entry "5. Additional Commissioner (Administration & Development), Office of the Regional Commissioner, Mysuru Division, Mysuru" shall be added.
