ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ನಗರ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ (ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ) ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪೌರ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ 1964 ರ ಕಲಂ 141 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಗಳ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ, 1976 ರ ಕಲಂ 146 ರಡಿ ಪ್ರದತ್ತವಾಗಿರುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಂತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಆದೇಶ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ:ನಅಇ 07 ಯುಡಬ್ಲ್ಯೂಎಸ್ 2011, ದಿ:20.07.2011 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಿರುವ ನೀರಿನ ದರಗಳನ್ವಯ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ನೀತಿಗೆ ಒಳಪಡುವ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿನಾಯಿತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ.
