NOTIFICATION
The draft of the following rules further to amend the Karnataka Civil Services (Regulation of transfer of Teaching Staff of Department of Technical Education) Rules, 2021, which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-Section (2) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990), is hereby published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the said Act, for information of all the persons likely to be effected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration after fifteen days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the State Government. Objections and suggestions may be addressed to the Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, M.S. Building, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bengaluru-560 001.
DRAFT RULES
1. Title and Commencement. (1) These Rules may be called the Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Teaching Staff of Department of Technical Education) (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(1)2 (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette.
2. Amendment of rule 4.- In the Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Teaching Staff of Department of Technical Education) Rules, 2021, in rule 4, in sub rule (4) after clause (b) and entries relating thereunder the following shall be inserted namely:-
"(C) Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, teachers with Benchmark Disabilities and teachers having husband or wife, children and dependent parents, who are persons with benchmark disability, shall not be transferred unless requested, and such request shall be considered even if minimum length of service under sub rule (1), is not completed"
