NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the Section-3 read with section-4, 9, 349, 351 and 355 of the Karnataka Municipalities Act 1964, His Excellency, the Governor of Karnataka hereby propose to declare the Grama Panchayat of Kaiwara including the Grama Panchayat of Masthenahalli of Chikkaballapura District mentioned in Schedule-A along with the boundaries mentioned in Schedule-B as the "Transitional Area of Kaiwara" and further to specify as the "Town Panchayat of Kaiwara" and to constitute the 'Town Panchayat' to the said Transitional Area with effect from the date of publishing this Notification in the Official Gazette having regards to:
i. The population of such area is not less than ten thousand and not more than Twenty thousand;
ii. The density of population in such area is not less than four hundred inhabitants to one square kilometer of area;
iii. The percentage of employment in non-agricultural activities is not less than fifty per cent of the total employment.
4The notification is hereby published for the information of the Public. All the persons, who would like to file any objection/suggestion to this Notification are hereby required to submit the same with reasons in writing to the Director, Directorate of Municipal Administration, 9th Floor, V.V.Tower, Bengaluru within 30 days from publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette. Further, Notification will be taken up for final consideration after the mentioned period of 30 days.

The proposed Kaiwara-Mastenahalli Grama Panchayat area starts from Survey No.42 of Battiganahalli village east of Kaiwara village and passes through the southern side of the said survey number up to Bangalore-Chintamani road and from there turns west and passes through Survey No.61, 47, 49 of Battiganahallı village and turns south in 49 and turns west in Survey No.50/2 and turns south in Survey No.50/1, 51/4, 52, 53, 56. After 1 turns south and passes through Survey No.187, 189, 190 of Kaiwara village and then passes through Lake Survey No.39 of Banahalli village and then turns west and passes through Survey No.41, 43, 44, 50, 57, 66 and reaches Lake Survey No. in 32, it goes southwest and turns south in Survey No.34, 33 and reaches Survey No.52, 53, 54, 55, 57 and then goes west and turns south in Survey No.58 and turns west in Survey No.62 and then goes south in Survey No.63 and turns west in Survey No.68 and goes to Survey No.69, 70 and turns northwest in Survey No.71 and joins the Mattenahalli border through Survey No.71, 72, 74, 77, 76 and turns west in Survey No.36 and goes up to Survey No.85, 84, 82, 81, 8. 7 of Jangamaseegahalli (Sheegehalli) village and turns north in Survey No.7 and reaches Survey No.6, 5. 3, 2.
