NOTIFICATION
The draft of the following rules to further amend the Karnataka Planning Authorities (Allotment of Civic Amenity Sites ) Rules, 2016 which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of powers conferred by section 74 read with section 17 (2-A), 17 (2-B) and 17 (2-C) of the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1961 ( Karnataka Act 11 of 1963), is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) and clause (ff) of sub-section (2) of section 74 of the said Act, for the information of all the persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration after 30 days from the date of its publication in the official gazette.
Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the State Government. Objections and suggestions may be addressed to the Secretary to Government, Urban Development Department, 4th floor, Vikasa Soudha, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore-560001
DRAFT RULES
1. Title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the R.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 2 (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment of Rule 6. – In the Karnataka Planning Authorities (Allotment of Civic Amenity Sites) Rules, 2016, in rule 6, in sub-rule (1),- (i) in the first proviso, for the word "ten", the word "twenty" shall be substituted;
(ii) after the first proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely.- "Provided further that, Planning Authority shall not sell
or otherwise dispose of any area reserved for Civic
Amenities, for any other purpose and any disposition so
made shall be null and void"; and
(iii) in the third proviso, for the words "Provided further that", the words "Provided also that', shall be substituted.
