2) Name and particulars of the owner/occupier of the land:

The treasure was found in property bearing No. 358 within the jurisdiction of Lakkundi Gram Panchayat, situated in Lakkundi village, Betageri Hobli, Gadag Taluk, Gadag District. The said property belongs to Smt. Kasturevva w/o Basavaraj Ritti and Kum. Prajwala Basavaraj Ritti (mother: Kasturevva Ritti).

4) Approximate value:

The gold ornaments from Sl. No. 1 to 21 weigh a total of 462 grams. The current market rate is approximately Rs. 16,151 per gram, and the present market value is estimated at Rs.

74,61,762/-.

However, as these ornaments are reported to have archaeological significance, experts have opined that their value may be approximately 10 to 15 times higher than the current market value.

5) Place and date of discovery:

The treasure was discovered on 10-01-2026 at property bearing No. 358 within the jurisdiction of Lakkundi Gram Panchayat, situated in Lakkundi village, Betageri Hobli, Gadag Taluk, Gadag District, Karnataka State.

6) Origin and surroundings of the treasure:

The treasure appears to have been buried underground within the said property and was discovered during excavation work for laying the foundation of a house.

Submission of Claims:-

Any person claiming any legal right, ownership or interest over the above-mentioned treasure shall appear in person or through an authorised representative before the Deputy Commissioner, Gadag on Date : 15-10-2026 by 04:00 PM, and submit documentary evidence in support of their claim.

If no claim is submitted within the stipulated period, or if the claims submitted are found invalid upon verification, the treasure shall be declared ownerless under Section 8 of the Karnataka Treasure Trove Act, 1962, and shall be taken over by the Government, and further action shall be taken in accordance with law.

This notification is issued for public information and lawful compliance.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ನಿďೇಪ ನಿಧಿ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ, 1962ರ ಕಲಂ 3 ಮತ್ತು 4 ರ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದತ್ತ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ, ಗದಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ, ಗದಗ ತಾಲೂಕು ಬೆಟಗೇರಿ ಹೋಬಳಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಲಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ನಿďೇಪ ಕುರಿತು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಗದಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಗದಗ ತಾಲೂಕು ಲಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಸ್ತೂರೆವ್ವ ಕೋಂ. ಬಸವರಾಜ ರಿತ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕು. ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ ಬಸವರಾಜ ರಿತ್ತಿ (ಅ.ಸ.ದಾ.ರ ತಾಯಿ: ಕಸ್ತೂರೆವ್ವ ರಿತ್ತಿ) ಇವರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಗದಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಗದಗ ತಾಲೂಕು ಲಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಆಸ್ತಿ ನಂ. 358ರ ಜಾಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ: 10-01-2026 ರಂದು ಕೆಳಕಂಡ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡ ನಿďೇಪವು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸದರಿ ನಿďೇಪವನ್ನು ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಚೇರಿಯ ಅಧೀನಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.

1) ನಿďೇಪವನ್ನು ಕಂಡವನ ಹೆಸರು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ವಿವರಗಳು:-

ಈ ನಿďೇಪವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಸ್ತೂರವ್ವ ಬಸವರಾಜ ರಿತ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಮಗನಾದ ಕು. ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ರಿತ್ತಿ ಸಾ:ಲಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ತಾ:ಜಿ: ಗದಗ ಇವರು ನಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಥಮವಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

2) ನಿďೇಪವು ಕಂಡು ಬಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಒಡೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಭೋಗದಾರನ ಹೆಸರು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ವಿವರಗಳು:-

ಈ ನಿďೇಪವು ಗದಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಗದಗ ತಾಲೂಕು ಬೆಟಗೇರಿ ಹೋಬಳಿ ಲಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಲಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ ಆಸ್ತಿ ನಂ. 358ರ ಜಾಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಜಾಗೆಯು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಸ್ತೂರೆವ್ವ ಕೋಂ. ಬಸವರಾಜ ರಿತ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕು. ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ ಬಸವರಾಜ ರಿತ್ತಿ (ಅ.ಸ.ದಾ.ರ ತಾಯಿ: ಕಸ್ತೂರೆವ್ವ ರಿತ್ತಿ) ಇವರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

3) ನಿďೇಪದ ಸ್ವರೂಪ ಮತ್ತು ವಿವರಗಳು

4) ಅಂದಾಜು ಮೌಲ್ಯ:-

ಅ.ನಂ. 01 ರಿಂದ 21 ರವರೆಗಿನ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಆಭರಣಗಳು ಒಟ್ಟು 462 ಗ್ರಾಂಗಳಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ದರ ಒಂದು ಗ್ರಾಂಗೆ ರೂ.16151/- ಗಳು ಇದ್ದು ಇಂದಿನ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ದರ ರೂ. 7461762/- ಗಳು ಎಂದು ಅಂದಾಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಆಭರಣಗಳು ಪ್ರಾಚ್ಯಾವಶೇಷಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಇವುಗಳು ಸಮಾರು 10 ರಿಂದ 15 ಪಟ್ಟು ಇಂದಿನ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ದರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಬಹುದಾದ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ತಜ್ಞರು ವರದಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

5) ನಿďೇಪವು ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಸ್ಥಳ ಮತ್ತು ದಿನಾಂಕ:-

ಈ ನಿďೇಪವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಗದಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಗದಗ ತಾಲೂಕು ಬೆಟಗೇರಿ ಹೋಬಳಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಲಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಲಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಆಸ್ತಿ ನಂ. 358ರ ಜಾಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ: 10-01-2026 ರಂದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

6) ನಿďೇಪದ ಮೂಲನೆಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದ ಪ್ರದೇಶ:-

ಸದರಿ ನಿďೇಪವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಗದಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಗದಗ ತಾಲೂಕು ಬೆಟಗೇರಿ ಹೋಬಳಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಲಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಲಕ್ಕುಂಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಆಸ್ತಿ ನಂ. 358ರ ಜಾಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೂತುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಮನೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ತಳಪಾಯ ತೆಗೆಯುವ ಸಂದಭ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಮೇಲ್ಕಂಡ ನಿďೇಪದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧ ಹಕ್ಕು, ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯ ಅಥವಾ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸುವವರಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರು ದಿನಾಂಕ: 15-10-2026 ರಂದು ಸಮಯ 04.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಗದಗ ರವರ ಸಮಕ್ಷಮ ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಅಥವಾ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಾಜರಾಗಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಥಿಸುವ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದು.

ನಿಗದಿತ ಅವಧಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಹಕ್ಕು ದಾವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲ್ಪಡದಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾದ ದಾವೆಗಳು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ನಿďೇಪ ನಿಧಿ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ, 1962 ರ ಕಲಂ 8 ರನ್ವಯ ಮೇಲ್ಕಂಡ ನಿďೇಪವನ್ನು ಮಾಲೀಕರಿಲ್ಲದ ನಿďೇಪವೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಕ್ಕೆ ವಹಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿನಿಯಮದನ್ವಯ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು.

ಈ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
