NOTIFICATION-I

Whereas The draft of the following Rules further to amend the Karnataka Excise (Brewery) Rules, 1967, was published as required by sub-section (1) of section 71 of the Karnataka Excise Act, 1965 (Karnataka Act 21 of 1966) in Notification-I No: FD 03 PES 2026 dated:24-03-2026 in Part IV-A of the Karnataka Gazette (Extraordinary) No.226 dated:24-03-2026 inviting Objections and Suggestions from all persons likely to be affection within seven days from the date of its publication in the official Gazette.

And, whereas the said Gazette was made available to the public on 24th March, 2026.

And, whereas no objections and suggestions were received in respect of the said draft by the State Government.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 71 of the Karnataka Excise Act, 1965 (Karnataka Act 21 of 1966), the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules, namely:-

RULES

1. Title and commencement: - (1) These Rules may be called the Karnataka Excise (Brewery) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette.

(1)2 2. Omission of Rule 7:- In the Karnataka Excise (Brewery) Rules, 1967, Rule 7 shall be omitted.

ಆದ(cid:197)(cid:312)ಂದ, ಕ£ಾಟಕ ಅಬಾĸ ಅĩĪಯಮ, 1965 (1966 ರ ಕ£ಾಟಕ ಅĩĪಯಮ ಸೆಂÍ 21) ರ 71 £ೇ ಪÎಕರಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಪÎದತîಾದ ಅĩಾರವನುÇ ಚ¬ಾĵಸಿ, ಕ£ಾಟಕ ಸಾರವ, ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಮುಂ(cid:296)ನ (cid:298)ಯಮಗಳನು(cid:199) ರ(cid:283)ಸುತ(cid:195)(cid:161)ೆ. ಎಂದ(cid:170)ೆ:- Īಯಮಗಳ

1. ಶೀಷಿೆ ಮತು(cid:195) (cid:164)ಾ(cid:206)ರಂಭ :- (1) ಈ (cid:298)ಯಮಗಳನು(cid:199) ಕ£ಾಟಕ ಅಬಾĸ ((cid:304)(cid:206)ೕವ(cid:312)) (ಎರಡ£ೇ ĦದುÅಪģ) Īಯಮಗಳ, 2026 ಎಂದು ಕ(cid:170)ೆಯತಕ(cid:180)ದು(cid:197). (2) ಈ Īಯಮಗಳ, ಕ£ಾಟಕ (cid:170)ಾಜ(cid:205) ಪತÎದಲಿÐ ಅವಗಳನುÇ ಅಂ(cid:294)ಮ(cid:174)ಾ(cid:278) ಪÎಕġಸಿದ (cid:296)(cid:163)ಾಂಕ(cid:296)ಂದ ಾĸೆ ಬರತಕ(cid:180)ದು(cid:197).

2. (cid:298)ಯಮ 7 ನುÇ İಟು¾İಡುವದು:– ಕ£ಾಟಕ ಅಬಾĸ (İÎೕವĸ) Īಯಮಗಳ, 1967 ರ (cid:298)ಯಮ 7 ನು(cid:199) (cid:304)ಟು(cid:190)(cid:304)ಡತಕ(cid:180)ದು(cid:197).

ಕ£ಾಟಕ ªಾಜͤಾಲರ ಆ¡ೇ¯ಾನು±ಾರ ಮತುà ಅವರ ²ೆಸĸನಲಿÐ, ಸಹಿ/- ((cid:305)ೕಮಪ(cid:200) ಪ ಅಜೂ(cid:349)) ಸಾರದ ಅĩೕನ ಾಯದಶಿ, ಆħಕ ಇ¬ಾೆ (ಅಬಾĸ) GOVERNMENT OF KARNATAKA
