ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಯೋಜನಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಘೋಷಣೆಯಾಗದಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ನಗರ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಯೋಜನಾ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ, 1961 ರ ಕಲಂ 4 (ಕೆ)(10) (ಬಿ) ರಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದತ್ತವಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರನ್ವಯ ತಯಾರಿಸಿರುವ GIS ಆಧಾರಿತ Road Network Grid Plan ಗೆ ಸದರಿ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯ ಕಲಂ 13(1) ರಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ನೀಡುವ ಕುರಿತು.
