PART-I

In exercise of the powers conferred by Clauses (a) and (b) of Sub-Section (3) of Section 28 of the Karnataka Civil Court Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act No. 21/1964), the High Court of Karnataka hereby designates the District Judges/Civil Judges mentioned in Column No. 2 of the table below, as the Vacation Judges, for the duration of adjournment of District Courts mentioned in Column No. 3 for the period of Dasara Vacation of 2009, noted in Column No.4

PART-II

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section (3) of Section 28 of the Karnataka Civil Courts Act, 1964, the Vacation Judges are directed to dispose of urgent Civil matters in which injunction, stay of proceedings and attachment orders etc., are sought for during the Dasara Vacation of 2009.

PART-III

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section (5) of Section 28 of the Karnataka Civil Courts Act, 1964, the Vacation Judges are directed to exercise the same administrative control over theಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ ೭೫೮ ್ರ, ಗುರುವಾರ, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ೧೫, ೨೦೦೯ ಭಾಗ - ೨ staff of the Civil Courts that are being exercised by the Prl. District and Sessions Judges, during the period of Dasara Vacation of 2009, in the absence of the Prl. District and Sessions Judges.

PART-IV

Wherever the Civil Judges (Sr. Dn) mentioned in column No. 2 are designated as Vacation Civil Judges, the District Judges are directed to issue a Notification as required under Sub-section (3) of Section 10 of the Criminal Procedure Code making provisions for the disposal of any urgent application.
