PART-I

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (3) of Section 11 of the Bangalore City Civil Courts Act, 1979 the High Court of Karnataka hereby designates the following Judges of the Bangalore City Civil Court, mentioned in Column No. 2 of the table below, as the Vacation City Civil Judge, for hearing of all the matters which required to be immediately and promptly dealt with during Winter Vacation of 2009 for the period mentioned in Column No. 4 of the table below.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section (3) (a) of Section 11 of the Bangalore City Civil Courts Act, 1979, the Vacation City Civil Judge is directed to dispose of urgent Civil matters in which injunction, stay of proceedings and attachment orders etc., are sought for during the Winter Vacation of 2009.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section (3) (c) of Section 11 of the Bangalore City Civil Courts Act, 1979 the Vacation City Civil Judge is directed to exercise the same administrative control over the staff of the City Civil Court, Bangalore, that are being exercised by the Principal City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bangalore, during the period of Winter Vacation of 2009, in the absence of prl. City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bangalore in the headquarters.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (5) of Section 21 of the Karnataka Small Causes Courts Act, 1964 the Vacation Judges are directed to have the Administrative control over the Staff of Court of Small Causes Concerned, during the Winter Vacation of 2009, in the absence of the unit head.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section (5) of Section 28 of the Karnataka Civil Courts Act, 1964, the Vacation Judges are directed to exercise the same administrative control over theಭಾಗ - ೨ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ ್ರ, ಗುರುವಾರ, ಜನವರಿ ೭, ೨೦೧೦ ೭ staff of the Civil Courts that are being exercised by the Prl. District and Sessions Judge, during the period of Winter Vacation of 2009, in the absence of Prl. District and Sessions Judge in the head quarters.

PART-IV

Wherever the Civil Judges (Sr. Dn) mentioned in column No. 2 are designated as Vacation Civil Judges, the District Judges are directed to issue a Notification as required under Sub-section (3) of Section 10 of the Criminal Procedure Code making provisions for the disposal of any urgent application.
