Sri K. Thiyagarajan, IPS, (KN-2006), Assistant Superintendent of Police, Humnabad Sub- division, Bidar District, is promoted to the Senior Time Scale of IPS, Viz., Rs. 15600-39100+GP Rs. 6600/- with retrospective effect from 01-01-2010 in the upgraded post of Senior ASP, Humnabad.

He is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Superintendent of Police, Kolar District, Kolar in the existing vacancy.

Government declare under Rule 11 of IPS (Pay) Rules, 2007, that the posts of Senior ASP, Puttur Sub-division and Humnabad Sub-division are declared to be equivalent w.e.f. 01-01-2010 to the IPS cadre post of District Superintendent of Police included in the IPS Pay schedule. This equivalence with retrospective effect is given in terms of Government of India letter No. 20019/2/95 AIS-II dated 13-7-1995.
