Sub: Determination of intake and publication of the 3rd additional seat matrix of Post
Graduate Medical Degree and Diploma Courses and Dental Degree courses in
Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges for the academic year 2010-11.
1. In the Notification No. HFW 399 MPS 2005, dated 08-12-2006 Government have promulgated in Karnataka Gazette dated 08-12-2006 the Karnataka Conduct of Entrance Test for Selection and Admission to Post Graduate Medical and Dental Degree and Diploma Courses Rules, 2006 and authorize Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science to conduct Entrance Test for Medical and Dental Degree and Diploma seats in Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges in the State.
2. Under Section 45(10)(b) of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Act, 1994 read with Rule 12 of the Karnataka Conduct of Entrance Test for admission to Post Graduate Medical and Dental Degree Courses 2006, the intake in Government Autonomous Medical and Dental Colleges shall be as may be notified by Government from time to time. Hence the intake of Post Graduate Courses and seat matrix thereof published by the Government applicable for the academic year 2010-11.
3. A consensual agreement has been entered between Government of Karnataka and the Karnataka Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association in the State for regulating admission to Post Graduate Courses in the Professional Colleges for the academic year 2010-11. As per the consensual agreement 33% of the total seats has been earmarked as Government seats in Private Non-Minority

4. The fee structure as per the consensual agreement is shown in ANNEXURE-III.
5. Out of total number of Government Post Graduate seats 70% of the seats are earmarked to the entrance test candidates and 30% of the seats are earmarked to the in-service candidates. Out of the 30% Post Graduate seats available for the in-service candidates, the following percentage of seats has

6. In notification No:HFW 180 MPS 2010, dated 20.04.2010, 17.05.2010 and 28.05.2010 seat matrix, additional and 2nd additional seat matrix respectively for the year 2010-11 for PG Degree/Diploma in Medical/Dental Sciences in Government Autonomous Institution, the Government seats in Private Medical/Dental Institutions were published.
7. The Director of Medical Education in her letter No:PGS/31/2010-11, dated 29.05.2010 has sent proposal for notification of 3rd additional seat matrix for the year 2010-11 for PG Degree/Diploma in Medical Sciences in Government Autonomous Institution/the Government seats in Private Medical Institutions.
8. Now therefore, Government of Karnataka in exercise of powers conferred under Section 45 of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Act, 1994 and sub-section (1) and (2) of the Karnataka Conduct of Entrance Test for selection and admission to Post Graduate Medical and Dental Degree and Diploma Courses Rules, 2006 hereby notify the 3rd additional seat matrix of the seats in Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma Courses for the year 2010-11. And reservation of seats in favour of (1) All India quota candidates-2010; (2) PG Entrance 2010 candidates; and (3) Government in-service candidates who have appeared and qualified for PGET 2010 in Government/Private Medical Colleges as specified in Annexure - I to II appended to this Notification.

Structure is as fixed by Manipal University. The candidates who have admitted to these two
colleges under Government quota seats through PGET shall pay the fee fixed by the
respective colleges. However, in respect of in-service candidates and SC/ST candidates who
are eligible for tution fee reimbursement, the government shall reimburse only the fee equal to
fee prescribed by Consensual Agreement with Comed K and the difference of fee shall be
borne by the concerned candidates themselves.

Whereas it is necessary to make an order with a view to enabling M/s. Core Green Sugar and Fuels Pvt. Ltd., Tumkur Village, Shahapur Taluk, Yadgir District, to purchase the quantity of Sugar Cane required having regard to the crushing capacity of the factory, the availability of Sugarcane in the area where sugarcane is grown and the need for production of Sugar.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause 6,7,8 and 9 of the Sugarcane (Control) order 1966 read with CSR 1127, dated 16th July 1966 of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Co-Operation (Department of Food) the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following orders namely:-
I. TITLE, COMMENCEMENT AND DURATION OF OPERATION:
i) This Order may be called the Karnataka Sugarcane (Regulation of Distribution) M/s. Core Green Sugar and Fuels Pvt. Ltd., Tumkur Village, Shahapur Taluk, Yadgir District, order 2010.
ii) It shall come into force at once and shall remain in force till withdrawn or repealed subject to
amendments as the State Government may make from time to time.
2. DEFINITIONS: - In this order: -
a. Factory means the premises of the factory at Tumkur Village, Owned by M/s. Core Green Sugar and Fuels Pvt. Ltd., Tumkur Village, Shapur Taluk, Yadgir District, including the precincts of such factory.
b. 'Form' means a form appended to this order.
c. Words and expressions used in this order but not defined shall have the meaning assigned to them in clause 2 of the Sugarcane (Control) order 1966.
3. Determination of the quantity of Sugarcane required by the factory and reservation of the area
for supply of sugarcane.
i) The crushing capacity of M/s. Core Green Sugar and Fuels Pvt. Ltd., being 5000 TCD. The quantity of Sugarcane required by the factory during a year is about 9.00 Lakh M.Ts to 10.00 Lakh M.Ts.
ii) The factory shall secure the sugarcane determined under sub clause (2) from the areas specified in schedule-I to this order which shall be the area reserved temporarily in the interest of farmers for supplying sugarcane to the factory concerned, till the new factories, likely to come up in that area are established.
4. FIXIATION OF QUANTITY OF SUGARCANE TO BE SUPPLIED BY THE GROWER: -
Every grower of sugarcane in the area reserved temporarily as specified in Schedule-I shall supply to the factory ninety five percent of the sugarcane grown by each such grower Co-operative Society operating in the reserved area, through such society.
5. AGREEMENT TO SUPPLY OR PURCHASE THE DETERMINED QUANTITY OF SUGARCANE.
Every grower of sugarcane or a sugarcane grower Co-operative Society, supplying sugarcane to the factory and the factory shall enter in to agreement to supply or purchase as the case may be, the quantity of sugarcane determined under clause-4.
6.PROHIBITION OF EXPORT OF SUGARCANE FROM AREA RESERVED TEMPORARILY.
No. Sugarcane shall be exported from the area reserved temporarily except under and in accordance with the conditions of a permit issued by the Deputy Commissioner in Form-I of Schedule-II.
7.ISSUE OF PERMITS:
i. Application for the grant of a permit under clause-6 shall be made in form 2 of Schedule-II and shall be accompanied by a fee of Rs.5/- and an amount of Rs.100/- as security Deposit.
ii. If any condition of the permit is contravened, the Deputy Commissioner may after giving an opportunity to the person Concerned to show cause why the amount deposited by way of security orಭಾಗ - ೪ಎ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ ್ರ, ಗುರುವಾರ, ಜುಲೈ ೨೯, ೨೦೧೦ ೭೬೯ any part there of may not be forfeited, pass order forfeiting the whole or part of the amount deposited as security.
