NOTIFICATION No.429/KT/2010(A):- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 24 of the Representation of People Act, 1950 (as amended), the Election Commission of India hereby designates, each of the officers specified in column (2) of the Table below against each district of the State of Karnataka in column (1), as the appellate officer before whom appeals shall lie from the decisions of the Electoral Registration Officers of the Assembly Constituencies, specified in the column (3) of the Table, in the State of Karnataka under Sections 22 and 23 of Representation of People Act, 1950:-

A further appeal against the order of the above said Appellate Authorities shall lie before the Chief Electoral Officer of the State under section 24 of the RP Act, 1950.
