The draft of the following rules further to amend the Karnataka Government Servants` (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1963, which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) is hereby published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the said Act for the information of persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration after fifteen days from the date of its publication in the official Gazette.
Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the State Government. Objections and suggestions may be addressed to the Secretary to Government, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore-560 001.
DRAFT RULES
1. Title and commencement :- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Government Servants` (Medical Attendance) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2010.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official Gazette.

Amendment of rule 3:- In the Karnataka Government Servants' (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1963, in rule 3, in clause (cc) for the words ``Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, Bangalore``, the words ``Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Bangalore`` shall be substituted.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ನಾಗರೀಕ ಸೇವಾ ಅದಿನಿಯಮ 1978 (1990 ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಅದಿನಿಯಮ 14) ರ 8 ನೇ ಪ್ರಕರಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಓದಲಾದ, 3ನೇ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ (1) ನೇ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರದತ್ತವಾದ ಅದಿಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು 1963 ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ನೌಕರರ (ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಹಾಜರಾತಿ) ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಈ ಮುಂದಿನ ನಿಯಮಗಳ ಕರಡನ್ನು, ಸದರಿ ಅದಿನಿಯಮದ 3ನೇ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ (2) ನೇ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ (ಎ) ಖಂಡದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಪಡಿಸಲಾದಂತೆ, ಅದರಿಂದ ತೊಂದರೆಗೊಳಗಾಗಬಹುದಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸದರಿ ಕರಡನ್ನು ಅದು ಅದಿಕೃತ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದ ದಿನಾಂಕದಿಂದ ಹದಿನೈದು ದಿನಗಳ ತರುವಾಯ ಪರಿಗಣನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದೆಂದು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸದರಿ ಕರಡು ನಿಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂದಿಸಿದಂತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿದ ಅವದಿಯು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲು ಯಾರೇ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಲಹೆಯನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುವುದು. ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಲಹೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆಡಳಿತ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ, ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು-560001 ಇವರಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬಹುದು.
ಕರಡು ನಿಯಮಗಳು
1. ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ
:- (1) ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ನೌಕರರ (ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಹಾಜರಾತಿ) (ಎರಡನೆಯ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ) ನಿಯಮಗಳು 2010 ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
(2) ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಅದಿಕೃತ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದ ದಿನಾಂಕದಿಂದ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬರತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
2. ನಿಯಮ 3 ರ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ:- ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ನೌಕರರ (ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಹಾಜರಾತಿ) ನಿಯಮಗಳು 1963 ರ ನಿಯಮ 3 ರ ಖಂಡ (ಸಿಸಿ) ರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ``ಶ್ರೀ ಜಯದೇವ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಕಾರ್ಡಿಯಾಲಜಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು`` ಪದಗಳ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ``ಶ್ರೀ ಜಯದೇವ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಕಾರ್ಡಿಯೋವ್ಯಾಸ್ಕುಲರ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್ ಅಂಡ್ ರಿಸರ್ಚ್, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು`` ಎಂಬ ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.

No. HFW 244 MPS 2010, Bangalore, dated: 22nd July 2010
Government of Karnataka have promulgated an Act (Act 15/2006) called the Karnataka Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fee)(Special Provisions) Act, 2006." In compliance of the provisions of this Act and the consensual agreement reached between the Government and Private Unaided Professional Educational Institutions with regard to admission and fixation of fees for professional courses, Government shall notify the number of seats to be allotted and fee chargeable for the academic year 2010-11 for the students selected for Medical and Dental Courses.
2) As per section 4 of the said Act, Government shall notify the Fee Structure to be chargeable for the academic year 2010-11 from the candidates selected for Medical and Dental Courses as per the consensual agreement reached between the Government and Private Unaided Professional Educational Institutions.
3) In pursuant of section 5 of the Act, and as per the consensual agreement reached between the Government and Private Unaided Professional Educational Institutions, 42% of the Government seats for Medical and 35% for Dental in Non-Minority Private Unaided Professional Educational Institutions and 27% of the Government seats for Medical and 25% of the Government seats for Dental in Minority Private Unaided Professional Educational Institutions are earmarked for the candidates selected by Karnataka Examination Authority to Medical and Dental Courses for the academic year 2010-11.
4) In pursuance of the section 4 of the Act, Government hereby notify the fee chargeable for the academic year 2010-11 from the candidates selected for Medical and Dental Courses as shown in Annexure-IV.
ಭಾಗ - ೪ಎ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ ್ರ, ಗುರುವಾರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೧೯, ೨೦೧೦ ೮೦೭5) Therefore, in exercise of powers conferred under section 5(2) of "the Karnataka Professional Educational institutions (Regulation of admission and Fixation of Fee)(Special Provisions) Act, 2006" Government hereby notify the additional seat matrix and fee structure for the academic year 2010-11 for Medical and Dental UG (MBBS/BDS) Courses, in Government Autonomous Institutions and Government quota in Private Unaided Professional Educational Institutions as per ANNEXURE I to IV appended to this notification.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಪರಿವಿಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿರುವ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಹೊಸಪೇಟೆ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು, ಹೊಸಪೇಟೆ ನಗರದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಆಯುಕ್ತರ ಕಛೇರಿ, ಹಿಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎರಡು ಪುರಾತನ ಗುಂಬಜ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಮತ್ತು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸ್ಮಾರಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪುರಾತತ್ವ ನಿವೇಶನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಶೇಷಗಳು ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ, 1961ರ ಕಲಂ 4(1)ರ (ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಆಕ್ಟ್ ಆಫ್ 1962) ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸ್ಮಾರಕವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಲು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವುಭಾಗ - ೪ಎ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ ್ರ, ಗುರುವಾರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೧೯, ೨೦೧೦ ೮೧೭ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಈ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಸದರಿ ಗುಂಬಜ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸ್ಮಾರಕವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಲು 60 ದಿನಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು, ಕನ್ನಡ, ಸಂಸ್ಕøತಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಾರ್ತಾ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ವಿಕಾಸ ಸೌಧ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು-560 001 ಇವರಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬಹುದು.
ಈ ಗುಂಬಜ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸ್ಮಾರಕವೆಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಗಳು ಬಾಧಿತರಾದವರಿಂದ ಮೇಲ್ಕಾಣಿಸಿದ ಅವಧಿಯೊಳಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಅದನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು. ತಡವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗುವ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಪರಿವಿಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿರುವ ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ, ಮುಧೋಳ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಬೆಳಗಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಈಶ್ವರಲಿಂಗ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ``ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಮತ್ತು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸ್ಮಾರಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪುರಾತತ್ವ ನಿವೇಶನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಶೇಷಗಳು ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ, 1961ರ ಕಲಂ 4(1) ರಡಿ'' (ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಆಕ್ಟ್ ಆಫ್ 1962) ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸ್ಮಾರಕವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಲು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟು, ದಿನಾಂಕ: 02.03.2010 ರಂದು ಬಾಧಿತರಾದವರಿಂದ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನು 60 ದಿನಗಳೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಕಸಂವಾಪ್ರ 116 ಕೆಎಂಯು 2009 ನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮೇಲೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆಯು ದಿನಾಂಕ: 25.03.2010ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ಯಾವ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಗಳು ಬಂದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

2. Amendment to Table II.- In Table-II of the Karnataka High Court Administrative Expenditure Rules, 1989, for item No.3 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ವಿವಾದಗಳ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ 1947 (ಕೇಂದ್ರಾಧಿನಿಯಮ 1947ರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ:14) ಕಲಂ 2 ಖಂಡ (ಎನ್) ಉಪಖಂಡ (6)ರ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ``ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ'' ಯನ್ನು ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ: ಕಾಇ 129 ಎಲ್‌ಡಬ್ಲ್ಯೂಎ 2009, ದಿ: 1.10.2009ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಸೇವೆ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಮುಂದಿನ 6 ತಿಂಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಜಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವಂತೆ ಘೊಷಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಸದರಿ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ 6 ತಿಂಗಳ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿದೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ವಿವಾದಗಳ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ 1947 (ಕೇಂದ್ರಾಧಿನಿಯಮ 1947ರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ:14) ಕಲಂ 2 ಖಂಡ (ಎನ್) ಉಪಖಂಡ (6)ರ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರದತ್ತವಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ ``ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ'' ಯನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಸೇವೆ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ ದಿನಾಂಕದಿಂದ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮುಂದಿನ 6 ತಿಂಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯವರೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ ಘೊಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶನಗಳನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಹಕಾರ ಸಂಘಗಳ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ 1959 (1959ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 11)ರ ಪ್ರಕರಣ 29ರ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಕರಣ (1)ರ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ದತ್ತವಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಈ ಕೆಳಕಂಡ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಗೋಕಾಕ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಕೃಷಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನ ಮಾರಾಟ ಸಹಕಾರ ಸಂಘ ನಿ. ಗೋಕಾಕ್ ಇದರ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಗೆ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಈ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದಿನ ಆದೇಶದವರೆವಿಗೂ ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.

WHEREAS, the Board of Management, University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur was constituted in terms of Section 12 (1) of the University of Agricultural Sciences Act, 2009 vide Notification No. GS 3 AUR 2010 dated 20th May, 2010. WHEREAS, in Notification No. GS 3 AUR 2010 dated 6th July, 2010 the nominee of the Director General, Indian Council for Agricultural Research, New Delhi, was appointed on the Board of Management of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur as per the provisions of Section 12 (2) (xii) leaving the positions under Section 12(2)(vii) vacant for want of appropriate proposal from the Government.
WHEREAS, the State Government has now conveyed its nominees on the Board of Management University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur as per the proviosions of Section 12(2)(vii) of the University of Agricultural Sciences Act, 2009 in file No. Kri Tho E 136 Kri Vi Vi 2010 (P).
NOW, THEREFORE, I. H.R. WHEREAS, the term of Dr. B.S. Sherigara, Vice Chancellor, Kuvempu University, Shankara Ghatta expired on 17th May, 2010.
WHEREAS, Prof. J. Madegowda, Dean, Faculty of Commerce, Kuvempu University was appointed to act as Vice Chancellor, Kuvempu University w.e.f. 18th May, 2010 for a period of One month in terms of Section 16 of the KSU Act, 2000, vide Notification No.GS 6 KPM 2010 dt. 13th May, 2010.
WHEREAS, ther appointment of Professor J. Madegowda, as acting Vice Chancellor, Kuvempu University was extended for a further period of three months w.e.f. from 17th June, 2010, vide Notification No. GS 6 KPM 2010 dt. 10th June, 2010.
WHEREAS, the Search Committee constituted by the State Government under the provisions of Sub-Section 2 of Section 14 of the Karnataka State University Act, 2000, has recommended a panel of names to the State Government for appointment of one of them as Vice Chancellor of the Kuvempu University.
WHEREAS, the panel of names recommended by the Search Committee has been considered.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, H.R. BHARDWAJ, Governor of Karnataka and Chancellor of the Kuvempu University, in exercise of the powers conferred on me, by section 14 (4) of the Karnataka State Universities Act, 2000, keeping in view, merit, equity and social justice and with the concurrence of the State Government, here by appoint Prof. Bari S.A., Special Officer, Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Bellary as Vice Chancellor, Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta, for a period of four years, with effect from the date of assumption of office or till he attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.

Where as the draft of the following rules, further to amend the Karnataka Right to Information Rules 2005 was published in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of section 27 of the Right to Information Act 2005 (Central Act 22 of 2005) in notification no: DPAR 86 RTI 2009ಭಾಗ - ೪ಎ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ ್ರ, ಗುರುವಾರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೧೯, ೨೦೧೦ ೮೨೫ Dated:1.10.2009 Karnataka Gazette extraordinary and inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby with in 30 days from the date of its publication in the official Gazette and where as the said Gazette was made available to the public on 1.10.2009. And where as the objections and suggestions not received from the publics.
Now therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of section 27 of Right to Information Act 2005 (central Act 22 of 2005) the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Karnataka Right to Information Rules 2005 namely.
Rules
Title and commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Right to Information (Amendment) Rules, 2009.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in Official Gazette.
Amendment of Rule 4: In the Karnataka Right to Information Rules, 2005, in rule 4,-
a. In sub-rule (4) after the words "or in cash" the words "or through Money Order" shall be inserted; and
b. After sub-rule (4) the following shall be inserted at the end, namely:-
"The fee so collected through Govt. Money Order shall be credited to Treasury after due acknowledgment as per Karnataka Financial Code or shall be credited to the Treasury after entry in the Cash Book as per KFC."

In pursuance of Section 5 read with Section 8 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, and after obtaining prior approval of Government of India, Ministry of Mines, Newಭಾಗ - ೪ಎ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ ್ರ, ಗುರುವಾರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೧೯, ೨೦೧೦ ೮೨೯ Delhi vide their letter No.5/86/2008-M.IV dated 21.10.2008, the Government of Karnataka hereby accords sanction for grant of Mining Lease for a period of 30 years (Thirty years only) in favour of M/s.Goa Sponge & Power Limited for Iron ore over an area of 26-35 acres (Twenty six point three five acres only) in Sy.No.23/1P2 of Dindadahalli village, Chitradurga Taluk, Chitradurga District, as per the sketch furnished by the Director, Department of Mines and Geology, Bangalore subject to compliance of the provisions of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 and Mineral Concession Rules, 1960 and other applicable Acts and Rules including Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, Environmental Protection Act, 1986, EIA Notification 2006 etc., as amended from time to time and Rules made there under.
Sanction of this Mining lease is subject to the necessary clearances like Forest Clearance under Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, Environmental Clearance under Environmental Protection Act, 1986, Consent for Establishment/Consent for Operation from the KSPCB. Sanction of this Mining lease is also subject to the terms and conditions appended hereto and subject to outcome of writ petition/appeal, if any, pending in respect of the area covered in this Notification.
The Department of Mines of Geology is directed to take necessary action to measure the area scientifically through GPS and to publish the Digitized Map in the Website.
The Mining lease should be executed only after submission of all the statutory documents/clearances, by the applicant.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE MINING LEASE SANCTIONED IN GOVERNMENT
NOTIFICATION NO. CI.167:MMM.2007 Dated: 31.07.2010.
a) Mining lease should be in respect of Iron Ore only. If other minerals are found in association with Iron Ore, they should be brought to the notice of Government and if the lessee desires to mine these minerals along with Iron Ore, he/she/it should do so only after the consent of Government is obtained in writing.
b) If beryl or any other substance prescribed U/S 3 of the Atomic Energy Act, XXIX of 1948 is found to occur in the property under the lease, the lessee shall make available such mineral to the Government of India.
c) The lease shall also be subject to the provisions of Rules in Chapter IV of the Minerals Concession Rules, 1960.
d) The lease shall also be subject to the Rules, issued U/S 18 of the Mines & Minerals (D&R) Act, 1957.
e) The lessee shall pay to the Director of Mines and Geology in Karnataka, Bangalore, necessary Security Deposit for due observance of the terms and conditions of the lease in accordance with Rule 32 of the lease issued to him.
f) The lessee shall be governed by all conditions that may be incorporated in the lease deed, to be executed.
g) The lessee shall abide by the rules contained in the Karnataka State Forest Manual, if the lease area covers any forestland.
h) Government shall have the right of purchasing the ore at current market rates.
i) The lease would be determined if the lessee fails to commence execution of the lease deed.
j) The area mentioned above is subject to verification after actual survey and demarcation.
k) The lease shall be for a period of Thirty Years.
೮೩೦ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ ್ರ, ಗುರುವಾರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೧೯, ೨೦೧೦ ಭಾಗ - ೪ಎ l) The lessee/s shall pay Royalty, Cesses and Dead rent as prescribed vide Government of India'sNotification published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II-Section 3-Sub-sectio(i) vide G.S.R.574(E) dated 13th August 2009 and G.S.R. 575(E) dated 13th August, 2009, respectively.
Local & other Cesses: As prevalent in Chitradurga District.
Royalty: At the rate prescribed in Second Schedule to the Mines & Minerals
(D&R) Act, 1957 and as amended from time to time.
m) The total area held by the applicant/s under mining lease including the present one, shall not exceed 10 Sq.Km.
n)Mining operations shall not be commenced/conducted unless a qualified manager and other supervisory staff are appointed as required under the Matalliferous Mines Regulations, 1961 and relevant notices are sent to the Director-General of Mines Safety, Dhanbad with a copy of the same to the concerned Director of Mines Safety.
o) The minerals should be value added and the Lessee should adhere to existing National Mineral Policy and Karnataka Mineral Policy, 2008.

ಆದುದರಿಂದ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೃಷಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ (ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ) ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ, 1966 ರ ಕಲಂ 3 ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಂ 145(1) ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದತ್ತವಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವನ್ನು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಅನುಸೂಚಿ-4ನೇ ಅಂಕಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮೂದಿಸಿದ ಕೃಷಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ಮಾರಾಟ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ 3ನೇ ಅಂಕಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಧಿಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಪರಿಮಿತಿಯನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡಂತೆ 2ನೇ ಅಂಕಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಧಿಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿರುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ವಿಭಜಿಸಲು ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದೆ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೃಷಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ (ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ) ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ, 1966ರ ಕಲಂ 10(2)ರಲ್ಲಿನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ, ಮೇಲೆ ನಮೂದಿಸಿದ ಕೃಷಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ ನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಭುಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಸರಗಣಾಚಾರಿ ಇವರನ್ನು ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್.ಎಂ. ಹರಗಬಲ್ ಇವರನ್ನು ಸದರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನಾಗಿ ನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
