In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 30 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969 powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 30 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969 (Central Act 18 of 1969), the Government of Karnataka hereby amend the existing rule 5 (1) of Karnataka Registration of Births and (Central Act 18 of 1969), the Government of Karnataka hereby amend the existing rule 5 (1) of Karnataka Registration of Birth (Central Act 18 of 1969), the Government of Karnataka hereby amend the existing rule 5 (1) of Karnataka Registration of Birth placing with the following : Deaths Rules, 1999 by replacing with the following :
