The following Act of Parliament received the assent of the President on the 7th May, 2013, and is hereby published for general information :-
THE APPROPRIATION (RAILWAYS) NO. 3 ACT, 2013
No. 15 of 2013, 7th May, 2013.
An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of India for the services of the financial year 2013-14 for the purposes of Railways
Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Appropriation (Railways) No. 3 Act, 2013.
2. Issue of Rs. 28324521,92,000 out of the Consolidated Fund of India for the financial year 2013-14.-From and out
of the Consolidated Fund of India there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums specified in column 3 of the Schedule to the Appropriation (Railways) vote on Account Act, 2013] (5 of 2013) to the sum of two lakh eightythree thousand two hundred and forty-five crore, twenty-one lakh and ninety-two thousand rupees towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the financial year 2013- 14, in respect of the services relating to Railways specified in column 2 of the Schedule.
3. Appropriation.-The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of India by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the said year.

S.O.942(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 26 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal, S.O. number 784(E), dated 20th March, 2013, published in the Extraordinary, Gazetted of India, Part II, Section 3, sub-section (ii), dated the 20th March 2013.
In the said notification under the heading "Foot Note".
The figure 1st September, mentioned in the second line of the heading shall be substituted by the figure 21st September.

An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of India for the services of the financial year 2013-14.
BE it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-fourth year of the Republic of India as follows :-
1. Short title :- This Act may be called the Appropriation (No. 3) Act, 2013.
2. Issue of Rs. 5878455,54,00,000 out of the Consolidated Fund of India for the year 2013-14 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of India there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums specified in column 3 of the Schedule to the Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 2013] (8 of 2013) to the sum of fifty-four lakh seventy-eight thousand four hundred and fifty-five crore and fifty-four lakh rupees towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the financial year 2013-14 in respect of the services specified in column 2 of the Schedule.
3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of India by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the years.
4. Construction of references to Ministries and Departments in the Schedule :- References to Ministries or Departments in the Schedule are to such Ministries or Departments as existing immediately before the 29th August, 2012 and shall, on or after that date, be construed as references to the appropriate Ministries or Departments as reconstituted from time to time.
