(೨೦೭೭)೨೦೭೮ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ್ರ, ಗುರುವಾರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೧೪, ೨೦೧೪ ಭಾಗ ೪ಎ Provided that in case the property tax on any property has already been collected for the current year, a supplementary demand shall be raised for the urban transport cess that needs to be collected.
(2) The cess levied under sub-rule (1) as in accordance with the Act, be collected by Municipal Corporation having jurisdiction over the area as if the cess where a tax referred to in the said Act payable under the relevant laws for the time being in force.
(3) The Municipal Corporation shall maintain the accounts relating to the said collection in the same manner and format as prescribed for other levies. The amounts so collected shall be credited to the Fund at every quarter in every financial year.
(4) The Municipal Corporation shall send a quarterly statement of cess amounts so levied and collected and credited to Fund to the Directorate of Urban Land Transport in every financial year.
4. Maintenance and application of the Fund: (l)The Directorate of Urban Land Transport shall at the beginning of each year make an action plan for utilization of the amount collected through the cess on property tax.
(2) The action plan shall be approved by Commissioner, Directorate of Urban Land Transport.
(3) The Fund shall be applied for the purposes specified in the section 149A of the Act.
(4) The Receipts and payments pertaining to the Fund shall be maintained by the Commissioner in the manner specified in the Karnataka Financial Code.
5. Accounts and Audit - (1) The Commissioner shall cause to prepare an annual statement of accounts of the Fund for every Financial Year.
(a) The financial year of the Fund shall commence on 1st April of each calendar year and shall end on 31st March of the succeeding calendar year.
(b) The accounts of the Fund shall be audited annually.
(c) The auditor shall, for the purpose of audit, have access to all the accounts and other records of the Fund.
(d) As soon as may be after the receipt of the annual statement of accounts and the report of the auditor, the Commissioner shall consider it and send a copy of the annual statement of accounts together with a copy of the report of the auditor to the State Government, along with explanation on the comments made by the auditor, if any and a statement of action taken to remedy the irregularities or loopholes, if any, pointed out by the auditor.
(e) The State Government may after perusal of the report of the auditor, and other documents submitted to it, as in sub- rule (5), give such directions as it thinks fit to Directorate of Urban Land Transport which shall comply with such directions.
6. Reports - (1) The commissioner shall prepare an Annual Report of its working for each financial year and submit it to the State Government along with other reports.
(a) The State Government shall take action to lay the Annual Statement of Accounts along with auditors report of the Fund before the each House of the Legislature as required under sub-section (6) of the section 149 A of the Act.

WHEREAS, the draft notification regarding altering the limits of Hirekodagali Village with its Tanda Hungunda Taluk, Bagalakote District, Karnataka State and constituting the new village called Sadashivanagar as published as required by section 5 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act NO.12·of 1964) in Notification No.RD 16 LRD ·92. dated 04.01.1993- in part-IV Section. 2-c(ii) of the Karnataka Gazette. inviting objections or suggestions from all the persons likely to be affected thereby on or before 08-02-1993 addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Bijapur District at present Bagalakote District.
And WHEREAS, the said Gazette was made available to the public on 04.01.1993.
And WHEREAS, no objections. and. suggestions are -received by the Deputy Commissioner. Bagalakote.
Now, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act No.12 of 1964) the Government of Karnataka makes the following alteration and 'constitute a new village as specified below.

Whereas the Government of Karnataka, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section 4 of section 4 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1964) proposes to issue a Notification to alter the limits of Dambal Hobli and Mundaragi Hobli in Mundaragi Taluk and Gadag District.
Now, therefore, the exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the said Act, notice is hereby given for the information of all the persons likely to be affected, thereby that the proposal will be taken into consideration on or after one month from the date of publication of the notification in the official Gazette.
Any objections or suggestions which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said proposal before the date specified above will be considered by the State Government.
Objections or suggestions may be addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Gadag District.
