S.O. 1698(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956):
the Central Government hereby authorises the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule annexed hereto as the competent authorities to perform the functions of such authorities under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Schedele relating to districts, taluk, police station and villages mentioned in columns (4), (5), (6) and (7) respectively of the said Schedule for building (widening/four-laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of the National Highway No. 206 Tumkur Honnavar Section in the State of Karnataka.

S.O. 1820(E).- Whereas the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) received the assent of the President on 29th August, 2013 and section 1 thereof came into force on the Same: date;
And whereas clause (76) of Section 2 of the said Act define the term 'related party'. In sub-clause (v) of the said clause, the word 'or' has appeared inadvertently and therefore defeating the intention of that clause.
And whereas difficulties have arisen regarding compliance with the provision.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 470 of the companies Act, 2013 the Central Government hereby makes the following order to remove the above said difficulties, namely ;-
1. Short title and commencement.-
(1) This order may be called the Companies (Removal of Difficulties) Fifth Order, 2014.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In sub-clause (v) of clause (76) of section 2, for the words "or holds", the words "and holds" shall be substituted

S.O. 1658(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 83 of the Mines Act, 1952 (35 of 1952), the Central Government hereby exempts the persons employed in exploration and production of oil and gas mines in India from the provision of sections 28, 30 and section 35 of the Mines Act, 1952, subject to the following conditions, namely:-
(a) the persons shall not be deployed for more than twelve hours on any one day;
(b) the persons shall not be deployed for more than twenty one days at a stretch with grant of rest interval of the same number of days (i.e, 21 days);
(c) the persons so deployed for twenty one days "on-and-off' work pattern shall be provided with standard accommodation and welfare amenities or facilities at the work site or camp during the period, such as :-
(i) free boarding and lodging;
(ii) free transportation facility;
(iii) free medical, health and hygiene facilities;
(iv) sanitation;
(v) recreation facilities; and
(vi) any other facilities as decided mutually;
(d) the flexible pattern of work twenty one days "on-and-off" shall be adopted after written agreements between workers' and employers' organisations;
(e) the persons so deployed shall be paid such allowances and other facilities amounting to not less than the extra wages or overtime which shall have been payable to them under the provisions of section 33 of the Mines Act, 1952 or any rule or regulation or bye-laws made thereunder or any other law for the time being in force or admissible under the terms of any award or agreement of the contract or rules of the service, whichever is favourable to the workers.

S.O. 1102 (E).-Whereas the Central Government having been satisfied that the public interest so requires that in pursuance of the provisions of sub-clause (vi) of the clause (n) of Section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), declared by the Notification of the Government of India in the MInistry of Labour and Employment dated 01.10.2013 the service in Banking industry which is covered by itme 2 of 1674 GI/2014.
The First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947) to be a Public Utility Services for the purpose of the said Act, for a period of six months form the 20th October, 2013.
And whereas, the Central Government is of opinion that public interest requires the extension of the said period by a further period of six months.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of Section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, the Centeral Government hereby declares the said industry to be a Public Utility Service for the purposes of the said Act, for a period of six months with effect from the 20th April, 2014.

G.S.R. 400(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (3) of Section 6 and Section 47 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999), the Reserve Bank of India hereby makes the following amendments in the Foreignಭಾಗ ೪ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಪತ್ರ, ಗುರುವಾರ, ಜನವರಿ ೮, ೨೦೧೫ ೨೩ Exchange Management (Transfer or issue of Security by a Person Resident outside India) Regulations, 2000 (Notification No. FEMA.20/2000-RB dated 3rd May 2000) namely:-
1. Short Title & Commencement
(i) These Regulations may be called the Foreign Exchange Management (Transfer or Issue of Security by a Person Resident outside India) (Eighth Amendment) Regulations, 2014.
(ii) They shall come into force from the date of publication in Official Gazette.
2. Amendment to Schedule 1
In the Foreign Exchange Management (Transfer or Issue of Security by a Person Resident outside India) Regulations, 2000, (Notification No. FEMA 20/2000-RB dated 3rd May 2000), in Schedule 1,
(i) In Paragraph 9 (2), for the words, "a report titled'Annual Return on Foreign Liabilities and Assets' in the form specified in Annex E to this Schedule", the words "a report titled 'Annual Return on Foreign Liabilities and Assets' as specified by the Reserve Bank from time to time" shall be substituted.
(ii) the existing paragraph 9(3) shall be deleted.
(iii) the existing Annex E shall be deleted
