PREAMBLE :

The proposal of M/s. BMM Ispat Ltd., to establish "1 MTPA Iron Ore Pelletization Plant, 1.25 MTPA Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant & 18 MW Captive Power Generation" with an investment of Rs. 257.00 crore at various Sy. Nos. of Danapura Village, Hospet Taluk, Bellary District was approved in the 3rd SHLCC meeting held on 03-03-2005 read at (1) above and Government Order was issued at read (2) above.

As per the decision 15th SHLCC meeting held on 21-08-2008 read at (3) above, the Government has approved proposal of M/s. BMM Ispat Ltd., to establish a unit for manufacture of "2 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant and Slag Based Cement Plant with 300 MW Power Plant" at Danapur, Nagalapura, D.N. Kere and Garaga Villages, Marriyammanahalli Hobli, Hospet Taluk, Bellary District with an investment of Rs. 6151.00 crores. The Government Order was issued vide Government Order No. CI 312 SPI 2008, dated 21-10-2008 read at (4) above.

Company vide its letter dated 19-01-2015 has informed that, out of 314.43 acres of land recommended for acquisition and allotment for the project from KIADB, 196.48 is private land and 117.95 is Government Land KIADB has so far acquired and allotted 196.48 acres of private land and 103.74 acres of Government land out of 117.95 acres. But, 14.21 acres of Government land in Sy. No. 16A1/1E and 48A/24 of the above village is left out and requested to hand over the same. They have further informed that, their steel plant is already in operation with all statutory clearances.

In the 38th State High Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC) Meeting held on 17-06-2015, the proposal of the Company was discussed and approved.

Government has examined the recommendations made by the State High Level Clearance Committee in the 38th Meeting held on 17-06-2015, in all aspects.

Hence the following order.

GOVERNMENT ORDER No. CI 187 SPI 2015, BENGALURU, DATED: 10.07.2015

Government is pleased to direct KIADB to handover the balance land of 14.21 acres which is part of the land approved for the project earlier.

All other terms and conditions indicated in the Government Orders No. CI 192 SPI 2005, dated 04-10-2007 read at (2) above, remain unaltered.

PREAMBLE :

The proposal of M/s. NMDC Limited to establish "5 MTPA Integrated Steel plant (2 MTPA in the 1st Phase & 3 MTPA in 2nd Phase)" at 5000 Acres of land to be allotted by KIADB in special Industrial zone to be setup in Bellary, Hospet and Sandur Taluk by Vijayanagara Area Development Authority (VADA) Bellary Taluk & District with an investment of Rs. 9,280 Crores generating an employment opportunity to about 2,500 persons was approved by the 19th SHLCC meeting held on 31-08-2009. Government Order conveying the approval vide No. CI 264 SPI 2009, dated 30-10-2009 was issued at read (2) above.

Now, M/s. NMDC Limited in their letter dated 31-01-2015 has requested to transfer the project approval in favour of M/s Karnataka Vijayanagara Steel Ltd. (which is a wholly owned subsidiary incorporated on 29-12-2014 with a purpose for development of steel plant in Karnataka) so as to facilitate setting up 3 MTPA Steel Plant in Bellary district and issue an amendment to Govt. Order No. CI 264 SPI 2009, dated 10-05-2012.

In the 38th State High Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC) Meeting held on 17-06-2015, the proposal of the Company was discussed and approved.

Government has examined the recommendations made by the State High Level Clearance Committee in the 38th Meeting held on 17-06-2015, in all aspects.

Hence the following order.

GOVERNMENT ORDER No. CI 264 SPI 2009, BENGALURU, DATED: 10.07.2015

Government is pleased to approve to change the name of the project as M/s Karnataka Vijayanagara Steel Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of M/s NMDC Limited subject to the condition that the subsidiary company would not be alienate the lands further to any other private party.

All other terms and conditions indicated in the Government Orders No. CI 264 SPI 2009, dated 30-10-2009 and No. CI 264 SPI 2009, dated 10-05-2012 read at (2) & (4) above, remain unaltered.

PREAMBLE :

The project proposal of M/s. Mylar Sugars Ltd., to establish "5,000 TCD Sugar Plant with 25 MW Co-gen Plant & 60 KLPD Distillery" with an investment of Rs. 242.00 crores at Hoovina Hadagali, Bellary District was approved in the 33rd SHLCC meeting held on 19-11-2013. Accordingly Government Order read at (2) above was issued.

purchase 35.12 acres of land U/s 109 of KLR Act by M/s Mylar Sugars Ltd. and 22.4 acres of land to be acquired by KIADB as SUC in different Sy. Nos. of Hoovina Hadagali, Bellary District, based on the consent obtained from farmers by the company. Accordingly Government Order read at (4) above was issued.

Now, the company in their letter read at (5) above has requested that Government Order has been issued for purchase of 35.12 acres of land U/s 109 of KLR Act and 22.4 acres of land to be acquired by KIADB as SUC. Now the company has requested to enhcnace investment limit from Rs. 242.00 crore to Rs. 320.00 crore.

The Government has verified the proposal in all its aspects and hence the Order.

GOVERNMENT ORDER No. CI 3 SPI 2014, BENGALURU, DATED: 16.07.2015

Government is pleased to approve the enhancement of investment limit from Rs. 242.00 crore to Rs. 320.00 crore by M/s Mylar Sugars Ltd. For the project approved vide Government Order No. CI 3 SPI 2014, dated 03-01-2014 and CI 3 SPI 2014, dated 20.05.2015.

All other terms and conditions indicated in the Government Orders No. CI 3 SPI 2014, dated 03-1-2014 read at (2) above, remain unaltered.
