CORRIGENDUM
No. KBW/M-1/GBR/KLR/83-84, Date: 30-11-2015
SUB : Correction of entries in the Gazette in respect of Waqf properties belonging to Hazrath Fakrali Shah Dargah (Sunni), Gowribidnur Taluk, Chickballapur District.
PREAMBLE :
Hazrath Fakrali Shah Dargah (Sunni), Gowribidnur Taluk, Chickballapur District, is a notified Waqf property in the Gazette at Sy. No. 792. This is a Muzrai Waqf property comprising of Sy. No. 06 & 39 measuring 2A-14G of Gowribidnur Taluk, Chickballapur District and the said Waqf institution is being managed by the Managing Committee.
The Waqf Officer, District Waqf Advisory Committee, Chickballapur vide his letter dated : 12-04-2013 has requested to make the following correction and to issue corrigendum.
1) The waqf land in Sy. No. 39 measuring 01A-11 Guntas of Karekalahalli have been transferred to the control of Karnataka State Board of Auqaf and the same has been surveyed by the Asst. Commissioner of the Waqf in the year 1963.
Whereas due to topographical mistake the same has been notified as Sy. No. 30 instead of Sy. No. 39. Accordingly the existing entry at Sy. No. 792 of the Gazette in respect of Sy. No. 30 has to be corrected as Sy. No. 39 measuring 01 Acre-11 Guntas.
2) The charge of property in Sy. No. 06 measuring 1A-OG have been transferred by the Muzrai Department to the control of the Board & it is notified at Sy. No. 792. After approval of Board, a portion of the Waqf property in Sy. No. 6/2 has been sold to M/s Estury Ramakrishna Shetty and Sons, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Sri Shani Mahatma Temple, Gowribidnur. Accordingly the Tahsildar, Gowribidnur has divided this Sy. No. in three (3) parts i.e., Sy. No. 6/1, 6/2 & 6/3.
Accordingly after alienation of the portion of Waqf property the remaining land measuring 0Acres-20.08 Guntas in Sy.
No. 6/1 & 0A-08 Guntas in Sy. No. 6/3 has been updated in the name of Karnataka State Board of Auqaf.
Accordingly for the existing entry at Sy. No. 792 in the Gazette in respect of Sy. No. 06 has to be corrected as Sy. No.
6/1, measuring 0A-20.08 Guntas and Sy. No. 6/3 measuring 0 Acre - 08 Guntas.
The Waqf Officer, DWAC, Chickballapur has furnished all the relevant documents in support of the above corrections.
The subject was placed before the Board in its meeting held on 18-11-2014. Board vide subject No. 3(1) has accord approval to issue corrigendum to the Gazette Notification.
